The best hotel to stay , especially if your luggage lacks cufflinks and shoe polish. Privacy is minimal but efficient.
The hotel was beautiful. I attended a wedding here and the staff was absolutely amazing, as we're all of the food items. I especially enjoyed the fried chicken bites. Great draft selection also. I did not stay the night.
I stayed here for two nights in the middle of the week around the time of graduation for the local colleges in the Burlington area. The rooms were large in size and offered great accommodations for two adults staying together who are not spouses. The restaurants, however, offered rather lackluster food choices on both the dining menu and the room service menu as far as dinner was concerned. In addition I suspect that the hotel does a fair amount of business with live music and the bar scene. If that's not your thing, stay in your room. The nearby garage adjacent to the hotel offered quick and easy parking.
Awesome hotel near downtown Burlington. The lobby is magnificent, and they have an outdoor area with a fire going during the colder months. The service was knowledgeable and great. Room was very spacious and elegant, with a view of Lake Champlain. TV was excellent, with tons of channels and options. Our new room came with chocolates waiting for us, and the bathroom was clean.
Got oyster happy hour at the restaurant. Very cool space, great date spot, wasn't too difficult to get a spot at the bar for happy hour and then some food once the kitchen opened. Nice wine list, affordable with off the beaten path wines.
Extremely clean location with a vast array of delicious goods to choose from. Unfortunately the past couple of visits I've had here have been met with seemingly poor service from the waiting team. This hasn't always been the case but it's reason enough for me to deduct a star from my review.
Very nice hotel. Highly recommend staying there for anyone in the area. Very close to the waterfront and downtown shopping and food.
Absolutely love staying at the Hotel Vermont - comfortable rooms, friendly staff, awesome bar, and breakfast at their restaurant is awesome. You must get the blueberry pancakes. Also like the bicycles in the lobby for riding down by the lake
Very beautiful hotel in the downtown area of Burlington. I really enjoyed my stay. The water pressure in the shower was very good, and the decor was really modern. The restaurant bar that is connected, juniper was really fun. Great drinks and atmosphere. My only complaint is the evening staff. They were very cold and rude when I had questions about a charge from them on my card. There also wasn't a microwave, which would have been nice.
Great place; perfect location. Friendly staff, helpful local advice. Had one minor disappointment with the quality of some appetizers on one of the busiest nights of the year, but management issued a complete refund after hearing about it. Highly recommended.
The nicest hotel in town. Very Scandinavian in terms of design but I like that. Very nice rooms, excellent staff, dog friendly, and close to church st. Only downside is the street it's on is a bit sketch with the courthouse across the street and the creepy park down the way. On a positive note they do have plans to redo that whole area and make it more modern and welcoming.
Beautiful hotel with nice clean rooms. The room we are in is on the sixth floor and is a little on the small side, the king size bed is very comfortable. They have coffee, tea, filtered water and snacks on each floor near the elevator. The staff are very friendly and eager to help.
Stayed here for a long weekend. I visit the Burlington area often but this was my first stay at the Hotel Vermont. We were happy to find that on arrival our special requests were met. Room was tidy and well appointed. Liked that they had sparkling water!
We also enjoyed breakfast in the lobby!!!
Great location, nice staff!!! Fantastic.
What a superb and fantastic hotel. I have staid in Burlington many a times and always seem to come back to the Hotel Vermont. I think the best way of describing it is that I feel at home here. I feel welcomed, the beds are great, the rooms are very nice and the staff are exquisite.
Everything from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave is great. I enjoy every minute I spend in here and when I decide on coming back I always end up going to this place and have not been disappointed yet. If you are looking for a friendly, clean and just fantastic hotel in Burlington Vermont then this is the place to go.
Its conveniently situated close to the town center and equally well for nice walks along the lake front.
Went to eat dinner there. The food was excellent and beautiful. They had live music Friday night
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Vermont for our honeymoon. We loved it! The hotel is clean and modern. The staff was so nice and friendly. The hotel bar and restaurant are great. The location of the hotel is perfect too! An easy walk to the lake, and just around the corner from Church Street, which is full of cute shops, bars and restaurants.
I also recommend dinner at Hen of the Wood right next door. We had an excellent meal and great service there! And if you're around on a Saturday, make sure you hit the Burlington Farmers' Market! And go hungry!
I stayed here for two weeks for a work trip. I LOVED the room and the decor. The staff was warm and very attentive. I even used one of the hotel's "Gently Used" bikes twice.
It is a great fusion of the local culture into a comfortable Hotel environment.
I would recommend to anyone else.
I am a diamond traveler for business. I love Stanwood Hotels but this is the one hotel where I will make an exception. Hotel Vermont is amazing. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the food is amazing.
Form the front desk to the chocolate welcoming me on my bed, everything is thought out. They welcomed myself and my fiancé by congratulating us. We enjoyed a 24 mile bike ride to pick appears that next day. The amenities are top notch and the staff is super pleasant!
