This is excellent place to stay in the heart of Vail. It is a very good value for the money you pay at Vail prices. The staff is welcoming. The rooms have many special touches that make the stay away from home easier. This is an authentic Austrian Hotel, the kind you would find in Europe. You also see a part of history here in the bar. The restaurant have authentic Austrian dishes with taste vegetarian and gluten free options.

Vail changes every year but the one consistent thing for the last 30 years that I have been going is Hotel Gasthof Gramshammer. Highly recommended‼️

At home feeling, friendly & accommodating staff, & couldn't hear any neighbors. We visited in the summer, so fair warning; there's no air conditioning, but we were comfortable cracking the patio door at night to stay coolwhich was fine except for the late-night revelers around 2 AM. Still, very nice.

Staff is great. Location great. Hotels history is interesting. Breakfast was good not great but it's included, the server lady in there was awesome. Parking is worth the 15 dollars a day. Hotel room needs updating but you shouldn't be in room much any way. I would recommend this hotel.

Service was great. Food excellent. Only complaint was the bathroom door in my room didn't close. I'd stay there again tomorrow.
