One there on a fairly cool evening and sat in the back right hand corner of the room as you're facing the back of the restaurant. Lots of dust blowing around in that area back there the rug seems saturated with dirt and dust and I did not enjoy myself. Food was eh!! But will try it again.

Great atmosphere and amazing pieces for Rochester firefighting history. The food is amazing, especially the mac and cheese! Service is great also. A great spot for locals and tourists alike!

Perfect place for date night or a family meal. Service was incredibly fast and the food tasty. Warm, comfortable and unique surroundings. Huge beer selection. Fried pickle plate was HUGE! More than two of us could eat with our meal.

Good food and service! I've been here for lunch a couple of times and dinner once always good food. Recently attended a bridal shower in the upstairs room. VERY well done by Hose 22! I would recommend you look into it for a special event!

If you are into firefighter history eating here is a must. Gear and photos from local fire companies all over Monroe County festoon the walls. The food is good and the menu carries on the theme. A lot of spice dishes for those who like heat.

Amazing food and a really neat environment. We went at six on a Sunday and got a table right away. Very good, attentive and quick service. Food was a bit on the expensive side, at least for the area, but there was a pretty wide variety and it was extremely high quality. There was also a very good selection of wine and beer: several examples of multiple varieties of each, including some locally brewed types. It's also an easy walk from Ontario Beach Park, which is a beautiful place to spend the evening. Altogether, it would probably be the first place I'd recommend for someone in the area.

Great gathering place. Plenty to check out while having a bite and a beverage. The upstairs is set up for parties but interesting to check out if it's not in use.

Sunday 4-23. First off, I am local to Hose 22 and tend to gravitate to my local watering holes. I don't mind that it is a little bit pricy, because you can't beat the open air atmosphere of the bar (especially on cooler, sunny afternoons) and the better than average food. This could easily be 4 to 5 stars, but, three weeks in a row of inadequate staffing tends to make one impatient. No bartender/ greeter.she's serving food again. Three couples, including us, came to bar at same time. I see another friend with an empty glass. I'm thinking we are going to get slow, crappy service. Apparently I was correct, as two other couples left at the same time we did. Love the Hose 22, but this is a business relationship. Down the road at McGregor's, they are on us the second we walk in, like they WANT our business. So I'm stuck inside, but I got a beer in two minutes. Please get your excellent staff some help so I can come back soon and feel good about it.

Great place. Food is very good, and service is also! We went on a Saturday evening, and even though it was busy, the small wait wasn't an issue. We will definitely return

My new daughter in-laws Bridal Shower was held there in a banquet room upstairs, in 2016, and catered. Was very impressed. Food was outstanding! Staff was friendly.
The authentic wood and detail on this firehouse was nothing short of beautiful. Historically it was terrific!!
    Highly recommend.

My center cut pork chop was juicy and perfectly cooked. The blackberry glaze was the perfect sauce pairing. Our server was the best we've had in a long time - attentive without being overbearing. The chef who prepared our entrees even came out to the table. My husband and I had a difficult time choosing from their exciting dinner entrees. The beer list is excellent and the wine list is decent (and includes $12 flights for the indecisive). We will definitely be back.
