Hotel was nice. Front desk and maintenance were very quick to respond/fix an issue with the shower. Breakfast fare was typical hotel good but again, staff was very attentive and helpful.
It's nice butbedbugs! I was supposed to stay here for 4 nights, after the first night I was a little itchy, but after the second I was extremely itchy with clusters of bites on my face and arms - so I checked the bed and found two bedbugs scurrying away from the light. I'm a veterinarian with parasitology training so you can be sure I know how to identify a bedbug. Management insisted it had never been a problem in this hotel and that the "pesticide team" didn't find anything. Needless to say I wasn't going to stay any more nights, in the end they partially refunded my stay - but maintained that there were no bed bugs in the room. I may not have left this review if it wasn't for that dishonesty - if they're doing it to save face that's one thing, but if it means they're not going to treat the room for the next poor soul who has to stay there well, I just hope it's not you. Unfortunately I was too upset to take pictures of the bugs and I'm sure the internet does not want to see pictures of the ~20 bites I am nursing now.
Worst Hilton experience. Their "suite" was tiny, floor was dirty, barely had staff for room service, and their breakfast layout was bare bones. Had good experiences with Homewood suites in other states so this is a huge disappointment.
Easy access. Clean. Pool and hot tub, small basketball court. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Good for family or business travelers.
Great staff. Awesome rooms, very clean. Nice pool, hot tub and basketball court. WiFi is pretty good.
As usual, our stay was great. Our room was great with the exception of the shower door. One of the door rollers had come off the track and when my wife tried to move it, the upper door rail track assembly popped completely off the side rails. Luckily, I was able to reattach the top and reset the door roller. I told the front desk about this. Additionally, the breakfast selections were not being kept stocked even though there was only a small group of guests present. This may have been due to one of the staff members being absent and another person, possibly not a regular food service worker, having to fill in. The absent employee arrived shortly after we started eating and things seemed to improve.
This place is lovely! We got in very late and Logan greeted me with a big smile and had us in our room right away. (My kids loved the tree frogs dotting the back of the building!) our beds, bedding and pillows were AmAzInG! Our place was very clean!! The kids commented on the "cleaning smell" in our room. The next morning on our way to breakfast we saw rooms getting new carpet installed; that was the smell. New carpeting! The showerhead has a setting for everyone. The furniture is beautiful and reflects the tropical Florida theme. Everyone is warm and friendly and greets you with a smile. Breakfast was hot, fresh and delicious!! Carpet layers didn't even make a sound till 8:30 am! Cleanest Homewood Suites I've seen so far and I've stayed in many of them. We had a 2BR (1K, 2Q) Suite with plenty of room for 6 of us. No complaints!!!
So far I like what I see the room looks great plus the pool and hot tub locations great plenty of restaurants nearby
I really enjoyed this hotel. It seems relatively new and the rooms are spectacular suites. They are spacious with a kitchen, a large walk in shower, comfy bed with pillows of varied density, and a very responsive air conditioner. I didn't partake in the managers reception, but I checked it out. They served salad and had a hot tray of diced grilled chicken. They also had beer and wine. The breakfast was typical with a waffle maker, oatmeal station, pastries, cereal, cheese-filled egg folds, and biscuits with sausage gravy. I wish they offered a breakfast meat like bacon or sausage. The hotel also features a Pokestop that can be accessed from lobby and rooms on the Dillard's side of the hotel. The location is convenient with many restaurants nearby. The adjacent shopping center is just finishing construction and has a town center feel.
It's really a nice, clean, Family Hotel. We truly felt like being home. Room is equipped with a kitchen, stove, big refrigerator, pots and pans to cook our own meals if we chose to.
Very conveniently furnished.
Roomy and well appointed suites. Close to restaurants and shopping. Good hot breakfast choices but, oddly, no orange juice. Probably wouldn't have noticed if I had been anywhere but Florida.
Disgusting! Nightmare! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Not worth the hassle! There are way better properties in the area to go to, don't use this one. Completely unprofessional general manager and banquet coordinator. The banquet room there was always unclean and unprepared for our arrival. The banquet coordinator stood me up on our first two appointments. The first one was to see the room and the second was to sign the contracts for the year. Throughout the year, the room was very dirty, not reserved for us, double booked, etc. I personally many times had to rearrange the room, set up chairs, tables, and wipe down the tables and room, because the banquet coordinator never did her job. When you call she never answers her phone. When I went to complain to the general manager, and she found out, she began screaming at me and acting completely unprofessional. She went on and on telling me she didn't even know who I was and I have rented the room for over a year. Then she went on to say that we never showed up to rent the room, which she would never know because she never was at the hotel. We had receipts for all of it. Our final straw was when she double booked our room for our annual celebration two weeks ago. The front desk had no record of us being there. Angela, the banquet coordinator, only form of communication is through her personal phone and text messaging. Instead of personally calling me to let me know she double booked our room, I received a text message seven days before our event, from her personal phone!!! When I return her text messages she gets nasty with me. Telling me not to text her private phone, yet that is the means of communication she uses and never returns phone calls from her work phone. I tried to talk to the general manager Anthony and he never returned our calls. When we complained to corporate they asked him to call us for over a week now. He told the corporate office he would rather not have our business. How unprofessional is that? We have not done anything wrong on our end. They have no idea what's going on there. They even told me they comped our last visit, we have never been comped. I let them know I have receipts for all of that. This management staff needs to be retrained. On a positive note, the kitchen staff is amazing at this location and helped me arrange the room and prepare it for our meetings, when Angela didn't many times. Kudos to the great attitudes of the kitchen staff.
