  Last year I bought plants that were labeled as jalapeno peppers and bush style cucumbers. I got anaheim peppers, which ruined my hot sauce plans, and climbing cucumbers, which jammed up my whole garden. I told the staff about it and they didn't care.
  
  This year I still, foolishly, wanted to support my local garden store. I visited and they didn't have cucumbers yet. I called every week for four weeks and always got the same reply, we'll get them sometime. Finally, when I expressed frustration, the girl on the phone hung up on me.
  
  Bottom line, if you don't care what comes up in your garden, and you enjoy poor treatmenthead on over to Homestead Gardens, Severna Park.

  During Myrtle money weekend our family was out of town. Despite being able to provide proof of this with credit card receipts, management would not honor my $75 of myrtle money. There was a sign posted that day offering mrtyle money to new members. So management would not honor a loyal customers mrtyle money, but would give it away to a new client that day? I used to be a loyal customer and would request gift cards from there from my friends and family. I now am supporting local family owned nurseries that will hopefully be as loyal to me as I am to them.

  Went in a little over an hour before closing in search of gravel, edging rocks and maybe some plants for the front yard. The place was empty except for about 5 employees, but none of them even made eye contact, much less asked if we needed help. Prices weren't labeled clearly enough for me to fend for myself, so after wandering around for about ten minutes, I left empty handed. Hopefully I'll be able to find someplace a little friendlier for my gardening needs.

  Great store, wonderful employees and they are "dog friendly." They love dogs and my 15 year old rescued "canine love of my life" absolutely can't wait to get in there and start smelling around. My wife "buys" and I "dog walk."
