Dr. Schmar did a wonderful job of helping us in letting our beloved mixed lab go. He was able to come in a very timely manner. His attitude and professionalism was very comforting and we were reassured this was the right time to say goodbye. We were pleased we were able to do this in our home where our dog was used to the surroundings. I highly recommend Dr. Schmar for any of you pets health care needs you would like to have taken care in your home.

Dr. Schmar is a wonderful veterinarian. We had him as a vet with a past pet and loved his manner with our cat. It wasn’t even a question when we got a new cat if we were going to call Dr. Schmar. He was personable, kind and very knowledgeable. I absolutely love that he makes house calls too! That keeps the overhead down which means better pet care costs for us. I used this vet to fix a hematoma in my dogs ears. And, let me be clear, its not about the money. My dogs are like my kids. I feel that as a vet you have a responsibility to reccommend the treatment most likely to remedy the problem. This man said the procedure he was doing had a 95% success rate, which was a lie. The surgery would have had a 95% success rate, the steroud and wrap which he preformed has a 50% success rate. I am appalled that a professional would take advantage of this type of situation. Shame on you. You were supposed to help my pet when what really happened was you prolonging the ability we had to get her the treatment she needed.

First off he told my wife 250 to fix my dogs swollen ear and then shows up and charges me like 320 and then the next morning her ear was swollen again so I called and he came back to fix and charged me another 75 when in my opinion it should of been free cause he didn't fix it the first time and now its messed up even worse and we had to take her to Stonehouse to get fixed just to be charged another 560, at least we know it is being done right and they back the work they do!!! We will not recommend ever and will let everyone we know to never use this company!!! Not only that but when I went over the bill he charged me like 50 for bandage wrap which is only 12 bucks at Walgreens!!!

Dr Tom gives the best care to my 3 kitties. Taking my cats to the vet used to be a nightmare. Now it's a breeze to have my cats treated. Dr. Tom helps you weigh out all your options and pick the best treatment for your animal. When my Winston kitty was sick he jumped right in and got us on the road to recovery or at least as much as a 12 year old cat can recover from anything. 😆 He even has a fancy new online chart for your animals that helps you to keep up with thier schedules and medical records.

Dr. Tom is a wonderful, caring person who loves animals! My two dogs are my best friends and i know they are in good hands with Dr. Schmarr as their Vet.
