We loved this campground. Very quiet and friendly. Everyone is willing to help you as much as possible. Debbie the park manager is killer. If she can't do it no one can. We travel due to work and by far this has been one of our favorite campgrounds. Family & critter oriented. A must is being there for Halloween, for once I can decorate all I want and there will be piles of trick or treaters. Most of the spaces have trees and are a good size. If your a skilled worker don't be afraid to stay here.

Two stars for the country atmosphere only. Debbie is phony!!! Underneath her fake smile is a "witch". I moved in there with the intentions to stay ONLY b/c she promised me a spot that I had looked at earlier that was under some trees. She told me back in July that the spot I wouldn't be ready till Oct. 9th or 12th. Then after I was in and had paid the money and was in the process of setting up the basics until I could move over to the other space she told me that the spot was NOT going to be available b/c the people in it were stayingI think she knew this. She had promised it to me and she LIED to me. She promised, then she broke the promise.
I didn't like that at all and apparently she just decided (after she had my money of course) that she didn't like me so a month or so later she told me that I wasn't a good match for her campground and she thought I should move out. I had nowhere to go and had spend what money I had on the move there and to pay for the rent I owed and buy the propane that I needed
I am NOW really glad I am out of there b/c she showed her true colors. There was mud from rain right in front of my camper and I had no choice but to drive my car into that mud which was awful. I ask her husband about putting down gravel to help with the mud as it was a problem and he just looked at me, shrugged his shoulders and said, "It's a campground", with not one ounce of caring in his voice and he drove off.
Two days later while I was in town he had a very thin layer of gravel put over most of the dirt ( I guess they were rationing gravel) since it was so thin. I bought 2 big bags of mulch and put that down to cover up what they didn't cover up. What a mess. I would NEVER ever recommend this place, she wants your money so she smiles, and then she can also lie if she needs too, and make you leave even though you have nowhere else to go. Shame on people like that. What goes around will come around

My girlfriend and I stayed here in the loft cabin for one night and it was perfect. No other cabin rentals within two hours of charlotte have the love and amenities this cabin did. The staff was like family and the cabin was cute and cozy. It had furniture, fridge and microwave, indoor bathroom, sink, and tv. Well stocked convenience store with homemade foods which were amazing. We had a giant carrot cake muffin. Definitely coming back soon!

Really enjoyed our weekend here. 35 minutes from home. What it lacked in frills it made up for in hospitality. The owners go the extra mile to be helpful and help you enjoy your time there. Very pet friendly.

Stayed in a cabin while selecting a site to move to in December. Is quiet and peaceful! Pet friendly and everyone was friendly and inform active of the area.
On leaving Debbie and Sheri were giving out the best pumpkin pie tarts and glazed buns . Can't wait to relocate there !!!

The campground owners are very nice. We stayed in site #72. I was told it was a large site and it was new. We were not able to walk around on our site because of this long stringy tree clippings that I believe were used for mulch. It also sloped really bad down hill and had a large drop off behind the camper. I was disappointed in our site. I made the owner aware and they said thank you for the input.
