The food and service are absolutely fantastic. We are dining club members and highly recommend when looking for a special meal. Plan for at least 90mins but more like 2 hours because all meals are 4 courses. I love the candlelight and easy going but upscale feel of the restaurant.

I almost don’t want to give rave reviews so it doesn’t get busier. Beautiful restaurant restored to an earlier time. The food was wonderful and the wait staff very engaging. We walked around upstairs to look for ‘spirits’ due to its haunted history. What a great time!

We've been coming to the teas here for years and years but I only recently got to experience dinner at this cozy place. Our server, Mena, was incredible and made the experience just perfect. The service overall was excellent and attentive. The food is outstanding. Get the French onion soup. It's worth the trip for that alone. Special thanks to the manager, Geri, for making it all come together.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary because we recently went to a wedding and the food was awesome!! No doubt every course was spectacular once again. Might be the best food I’ve ever had, honestly! And the sever we had just made our night! Stella was the cherry on top of our evening. She was generous and HILARIOUS!! Borderline inappropriate, she had me almost in tears from laughing so hard! Make sure you ask for her and get the chicken strudel with potato bisque! You won’t be disappointed and we will be back as frequently as we can!!

I love the Holly Hotel. It is a unique Michigan experience to dine in this almost unchanged century old setting. The food is top-tier for the area, fine dining but not 5-star Michelin, accessible to anyone but appreciated by foodies. The price is honestly not outrageous at all for the quality and experience you receive. I would go so far as to say that it was a value! Bottom-line, this place is an experience. From the classic nude paining over the bar, once destroyed by abolitionists to the antique fine china you eat off of to the classic menu items your grandparents may very well have enjoyed. This place is an institution and a slice of history. The service is always good to borderline great. The food is always really good to great. The experience is honestly incredible. Eat here.

Highly recommend having your baby shower here. The staff was great to work with from the beginning to the end. Special thank you to Geri and our waiter Tanner and waitress Katie. The food was outstanding great selection to choose from not just one or two items like most places. Thank you to Chef Matthew. Elegant even room. Great experience all around

Very cool atmosphere. However, the food was tasteless and very salty and I'm usually not very picky. I'm not sure I would return again but have heard so many good things! Hopefully others have better experience.

I visit here often for their specialty events. The titanic event is fantastic. We go every year for Morel mushroom dinner. The chicken strudel is a must. I also enjoy going to afternoon tea. It is a relaxing way to spend the afternoon.

Amazing wedding here. Not a wedding fan or an out-to-eat-person but this place was pretty cool.

Expensive, not good and dirty! Went once, got multiple courses, long delay between courses, not 1 thing was good, the place was so dirty and dusty. It looked more like a haunted dinner than fancy dinner. We did go to the comedy show and enjoyed that. We will NEVER eat there again though.

I don't know if I have ever had a better experience dining. Every last dish was prepared perfectly. Food was delivered hot and presentation was excellent. They timed everything so that you didn't feel rushed. The atmosphere was exceptional - candle lit. The restrooms upstairs was a bit industrial, with poor lighting - but not enough to knock off a star at this fine establishment. The waiter was very professional.
