Very knowledgeable staff and excellent selection! My family and I have been loyal customers for over 25 years.
Attentive with a fair selection. Depending on what you are looking for. We price shopped cross country skies we almost bought there and found a better deal elsewhere.
I really have to say I was expecting a little bit more. I am certain the gentleman we had just wasn't as knowledgeable as other people there may be. I hear how wonderful they are and how they know everything about skiing. The person helping us was trying to be very helpful and tried to help us. I just felt like he didn't really know what he was talking about. They didn't have any of the ones I wanted in my size and instead of suggesting that he can order it for us. He just kind of like going down the line up styles and said here whatever you can take these, but their entire full size bigger than the ones over here but they'll still work. It was really strange and they didn't have have my boot size he wouldn't suggest ordering it was really odd. I just don't feel that we were helped at all it was just kind of really odd overall.
I tried to buy bindings and have them mounted on new Shaggy's skis. When I went in with the skis in hand and told the guy that, he said he had to check on something. A couple minutes later he came back and said there would be $100 charge to mount them, even after buying the bindings from them. I asked why, and he said "that's what the owner said." So, I left, and will take all my business (I've spent thousands of dollars there over the years) elsewhere. Was odd because mounting bindings is something they would do very regularly, shouldn't be anything unusual about it. The fact that he had to go talk to the owner first makes me think they have something against Shaggy's for some reason. I called Boyne Country Sports, told them the make and model of ski, they will mount for $32. It's a longer drive, but they now have all of my ski/snowboard business.
I would Highly recommend going to shuckers for all your sports needs. With them you get quality products at resonable prices, and you can pick everything up all in one location.

Great store with all of the best equipment in stock. Best tune up money can buy with full stone grind. Store owner is a racer himself and knows what he sells. Happy to visit this store and worth every penny for the expertise of the staff there.
Horrible customer service! Purchased new ski boots, left ski's to be adjusted for new boots and to be sharpened. 4 months later after at least 7 calls, picked up my skis. Owner takes no responsibility and refuses to answer phone.
Huge selection, very attentive and knowledgable staff.
Knowledgeable employees who aren't pushy to get you to buy the most expensive of something.
Friendly knowledgeable staff and everything you could want from a full service ski shop.
Friendly knowledgeable staff. Well stocked.
Been a staple in Flint since before I was around, so 50+ years in business says they do it right. Just bought my fourth pair of skis. Delightful and quick.
This is everything you expect in a ski shop. My sales person was very knowledgeable. They have used the equipment and know it. Everyone was friendly, and they had what I was looking for in-stock. Highly recommended!
