Big rooms and very nice and clean. Beautiful facility Amazing staff very nice and welcoming they make you feel like family. my dog and other pets are very welcomed. Just a great place to stay

Definitely an older hotel. Our first room had dead ants, hundreds in the bathroom. They switched us then everything was good. Pinball, a pool, slots, a parrot, and a restaurant make this a fun stay.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Very clean and roomy. The king size bed was comfortable. The pool was amazing and it included a large area that was only 9 inches deep where my granddaughter could play. There was plenty of hot water in the shower. I definitely want to return here again when visiting my granddaughter.

Don't let the older looking exterior fool you. This is a VERY nice hotel! We stayed for 8 nights and enjoyed it very much. It is one of the best kept hotels in Charleston. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We will certainly be back.
As for the noise train tracks, we heard it a few times but it was no big deal. Don't let that stop you from staying here.
This hotel also has an awesome indoor pool with a shallow play area for young kids. There is also a large hot tub next to the pool.response / report this review -

Very nice. Room was clean. Seemed to be quite a few out of town construction workers living out of this place and usually they stay in comfortable places. Close to expressway and easy on/off access for travelers. Downside is in an industrial area. No beautiful WV scenery to look at.

The staff greeted us at the door and were very friendly and helpful. It was so clean and the lobby was beautiful. All the staff I encountered were awesome. I will definately be going back

Everything was great, but the location leaves a little to be desired. It's right near train tracks that are frequently used in the middle of the night. It has an awesome pool, and the staff was pleasant. Prices for drinks and food are a bit pricy in the restaurant though. And, unfortunately, no complimentary breakfast. I'd probably stay here again though.

Very nice hotel! Stylish lobby and pool area, rooms are very nice and with comfortable beds! They are pet friendly for $25 which is the best! Even had doggie trash cans on the grounds. No continental breakfast but room service and a sit down was offered. Overall excellent experience with an affordable rate!

100% smoke free is very nice! Also salt-water indoor pool is uniquely designed with a shallow bubble pool area as well as a long lap area, so both families and those that enjoy swimming laps can easily enjoy it. Breakfast is made to order and a great deal if you pay in advance when booking the room ($5 for two as of August 2017).
All rooms are suites, and designed so sleeping areas never disturbed by hallway noise.
Really nice facility. Only downside is it is by the train yard (which is near the olde town area) but most the hotels in town seem to be here, and the building itself has very soundproof windows so it is not bothersome.response / report this review -

Well unless your a dog lover skip this one. Dog hair everywhere, told staff no one touched it my whole stay, listening to dogs bark all hours of the night, yay! Dogs everywhere. Dogs trying to fight each other. My favorite part, haha. Be warned. You will not rest there almost forgot to mention all the stains on the carpet from dogs pissing on everything. Literally anywhere you'd expect a dog to pee there was a stain. Filthy. I imagine most who post here have dogs with them at hotel. Just stay in a kennel it would be cheaper and the same service.

This place has a trendy vibe, it is pet friendly, and the staff is top notch. If you enjoy comedy shows it's definitely worth taking in the Comedy Zone on premises on the weekend. It has a relaxed atmosphere the breakfast is cooked to order if you choose and very well done. It has something for everyone in the hot tub, salt water pool, splash pad, laundry, fitness center, bar, even a pinball machine. It's an easy 3 mile drive to Downtown Charleston.

Very nice hotel with a fantastic complimentary breakfast. Staff is very nice but neighborhood is fairly run down. View of a refinery on one side and railroad tracks on the other.

One of the few truly pet friendly hotels in the area. Stopped for just one night. The room was pretty clean and internally quiet. Note that the hotel is right next to the train tracks that do run all hours of the day and night. We were so tired it didn't bother us. We didnt have time to use it, but the pool looked very nice. Good quality for the cost.

Great place!!!! Pool was nice expect I wish it was a little more ventilated. Eyes were burning from chlorine. Room was clean! Right off the highway. The only thing that would have made it better was continental breakfast! Lol

This hotel is perfect. They treated us great and the room was very clean. Beds were comfy and had a very nice shower. The room we stayed in had a Keurig coffee maker which was a nice touch. I highly recommend this place. They have great customer service.
