  Nice, older Marriott. Rooms could use updating. Staff is friendly & accommodating. Food in the restaurant is ok, there's a mall across the street with good restaurants flanking the opposite end & side. Easy access to freeways.

  The company bed and linens are comfy, everything is clean, and we had enough towels. We used their gym twice, and it had all the necessities. An indoor pool and adjoining rooftop patio are bonuses. Only complaint is there was no mini fridge!

  Staff was very rude. Manager had to step in due poor job / customer relations attitude. The elevator to the parking garage broke down with me in it. I simple requested that we get a call to our room once it was operational and repaired. ( I crawled out between floors ) 8 hours later we still not received a call so I proceeded to inquire at the front desk as to the status of the elevator. I got a very inquisitive look and told that Jim the pretty sure it's working so I went over and had not been repaired if it just been reset and I'd ask them if they thought that was sufficient given that hit it just broke down and could left me stuck between floors. The very uneducated and rude front desk employee said that's all that she could do and I said well I would like to speak to a member hotel management not a shift manager because my daughter refuses to get on the elevator and I'm not going to carry our luggage up four flights of a parking garage because you guys don't feel this is an issue. By this time the family had came down from the room and was standing quietly off to the side in the lobby waiting for me to conclude so we could go out to dinner. Informed them that I would walk before flights to get the car but I did not want them on the elevator and I surely wasn't I want to take it either I would drive around and pick them up as soon as I left the front desk they overheard the front desk employee mocking me and chatting back and forth as to they don't understand what the big problem was and there was nothing more they could do about it. Keep in mind at this point I had not been confrontational nor rude with any of the employees but to have them mock my concerns over an elevator that I'd left me trapped no more than 8 hours prior to I think that's very distasteful I think it shows a very severe lack of education and lack of training. Also for me a hard pill to swallow as they did it , Abit unknowingly in front of my family. To elude as to my concerns weren't warranted.

  The rooms are gorgeous and inviting. White down bedspreads and sheets are immaculately made up on the beds. There are alarms on the phone to wake you up and it is very easy to make the call to the front desk. The staff greets you coming and going and; are always helpful in assuring your every need. There is a great buffet breakfast with something to meet everyones taste and diet. There is an open bar, lounge area, which is open and comfortable. The views are warm and sunny!

  Clean, attractive, physical plant. Lobby has nice conversation seating areas. Fireplace. Pleasant, friendly and attentive staff. Event planner easy to work with for setting up a conference. Larry, 30+ years in food service department, wonderful man! Great food.

  This property is in a very good location, had nice amenities, and an incredibly polite staff. The free parking for using mobile check is a great touch as well. They also have one of the best club sandwiches I've ever had, although it may have been the free wine in the concierge lounge (no liquor or beer available there, unfortunately). All that being said, the location is showing it's age. It's time for an update, but please keep the charm and staff.

  Overall, the room was nice. I didn't not partake in any of the available room service offerings as I only stayed a single night. The employees were very accommodating, however I was surprised that the cost of parking was not included in the fees. $15 to park in the Marriott owned deck seemed a little step in my opinion.

  The reason I was given for a lack of hot grab and go sandwiches at the coffee bar was that, the buffet was going. Fun fact, the buffet runs all week. I won't get started on the evening service...
  The rooms are fine, some of the food is decent, and bless their hearts, I want to believe they are trying but it's hard to tell.
  Warning to staff, this event will likely be back in the future. You should probably try harder.

  We stay here often. The staff is so friendly. We especially enjoy seeing Brian in the concierge lounge. The staff for the restaurant are also do kind and helpful. They have even gone to find my daughter a cinnamon raisin bagel when there were none on the bar after hearing her ask me if they had them. They are in a good location for walking to a lot of local shops and restaurants too.

  This is an upscale hotel that is worth the price! The staff will go above and beyond for you. There are several different dining options to choose from if you don't want to leave hotel. The hotel is attached to the town center Mall. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

  Dumpy Looking & Run Down Hotel. Dump Hotel. The Hotel Has Seen Better Day's. Lobby Look's Junked Up & Unkept. Poor Hotel. The Hotel Lobby Is A Hang Out For Bum's. Hotel Is Not Updated. Hotel Lobby Is Cluttered Up With Bum's Sitting Around Off Of The Street's Junking Up The Lobby. Hotel Has No Class & Is A Low Class Hotel. )

  Very nice hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning worked great. The walls are thick enough so that it was nice and quiet. I would highly recommend a stay here.

  Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. The lobby/bar/breakfast area was a very nice, comfortable atmosphere. The wait staff and the front desk staff were all very pleasant and helpful and the location and parking is very convenient.

  The Charleston Marriott Town Center is conveniently located for business in the Charleston downtown area. There are also other attractions such as the town centre with shopping and dining options. The hotel staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and are well presented. When I am in Charleston for business always make an effort to stay at the town center Marriott it is my preferred location in the Charleston area.

  Old hotel, nasty outside, nasty parking garage that cost $15.00 for overnight parking, just across the street is $1.75.
  Friendy, very friendly staff, but over
  $200.00 a night,after taxes and hiding fees and hiding parking. Pay for WiFi, pay for bottled water in the room. Almost $20.00 for breakfast.
  No thank you.... There is embassy suites on the other side of the block.

  The location, directly across the street from the Town Center Mall, is very convenient. Parking can be a bit expensive, but cheaper mall parking is available. The facilities are nice, the food is great, and the staff is very friendly.

  I had a great experience. I happened to be stopping overnight on the same night as a sold out concert at the convention center nearby. All staff members were polite, attentive, and helpful. Definitely would stay again.

  I stayed in this hotel for a month. This hotel has been renovated. The room are actually clean. The pool has been renovated. The gym are not very large. The parking lots are free for hotel guests with the complimentary but not have valet parking service. It has a bar and the concierge room for the Marriott's membership with free good breakfast. It is very noisy with DJ music whenever it helds the wedding party. The customer service is excellent.
