I was here for a company wide safety meeting for work. The service provided to us for the day was great. Very attentive staff, and a comfortable and professional environment. We will definitely consider holding next year's meeting here as well!
I had a really hard time at this hotel! I heard some of the spacious between talk between the staff and this guy. There was a creep guy that came up my kid and start trying to get my kid follow him. I give him a dirty look like what doing. Then u told the staff u know are deal don’t say nothing ! Then I when to my room on the three floor . I heard an autism child screaming and kicking. I knock on the guy door because he keep my kid a wake and he has disabled so I didn’t go in as bias. I just ask please be quite! The guy told me that he doesn’t have kid. Then I heard adult screaming say I went over them. It whole Situation still haunting me and I have to say something to get off my Conscience ! Don’t leave your children alone! I been in mult hotels with my kids and this just creep me out!
I would not normally have chosen a hotel within thirty minutes of home but winning the evening in a fund raiser basket was my lucky day! Hotel staff was very helpful. Room was clean. Beds and linen were very comfortable. The biggest surprise was the balcony off the room overlooking the lake. It was the perfect location for sharing a bottle of wine over a take out dinner. The small table and two chairs were very comfortable.
Depending on the time of year, take advantage of the dinner theater located on the first floor. Food is always delicious with generous portions and shows entertaining.
We had dinner at the TR (Teddy Roosevelt) restaurant. Buffet was very good and a great value. Ala carte good too. They were able accommodate 17 of us. Relatively quiet so we could have good conversation. Service excellent. Very clean. Upscale feel.
Noise, Noise, Noise ! If you are looking for a relaxed and quiet atmosphere this is not the place for you. During my stay I experienced screaming and yelling children running in the hallway. My door was constantly knocked on by children then they would take off running sounding like a herd of buffalo. Do not stay in room #218. This room has a view of a wall and it is near the the doorway to the pool where you will constantly hear yelling and noise coming from the pool. Considering there are 2 walls between the room and the indoor pool the walls must be paper thin with no sound barrier. I did complain to the staff about the noise and they were very nice and tried to stop the noise however there is only so much you can do when you have a hotel full of noisy people. I will probably not likely stay at this property again. The rooms are very nice and clean with beds that one could call white fluffy clouds. The bed was awesome. Just bring a pair of ear plugs you will need them. In the past I have had bad experiences with Holiday Inn and this one of the same. If Your rest is important to you such as a professional driver this is not the place for you. But if you have bad children then this is your spot. Take your children here and turn them loose the staff will not mind.
Good location. Try to get a room in the front because the view is beautiful! Room was very nice with stylish furnishings, a decent sized fridge, and a microwave. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, shuffle board, basketball courts, playground, and and outdoor fire pit. We are already talking about when we can come back.
We have visited Lake George for many years and never stayed here before.we didn't know what we were missing!!! Rooms are beautiful, food is excellent, fantastic pool, outdoor basketball court and so much more!! Will definitely be staying here again!!
Great hotel from the room very clean and updated, staff, location, and amenities. Hotel has 2 pools: outdoor pool with lounge chairs and patio sets, indoor pool with waterfall, basketball court, fire pit for gathering. Hotel has a restaurant on premise with avilable room service. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great family getaway. See you next year Holiday Inn Resort.
Laid back. Walk to Lake George! 4 pools including whirlpool! Affordable! Family friendly. It's a resort, but a stone's throw from Lake George! Beds are awesome as are the rooms.(patio to sit and get some sunshine). The staff is awesome! They are always willing to go the extra mile! So much moreOh, and the food is very good and many choices! You have to visit!
The Good: Great location, short walk from the town and all the action. Very clean and reasonably priced for the area. Nice amenities: indoor and outdoor pool, basketball, giant chess, summer firepit, etc. Plenty of activities. Room is comfortable and clean The bad: Room needs some love though. Some examples: bathroom door lock is bent and kept getting jammed such that it was hard to get out. Bathroom fan didn't work. Room smoke detector went off at the slightest bit of steam from the shower, which was inevitable. Impossible to close windows 100%
Nice clean hotel. Reasonable rates in the heart of Lake George with modern amenities. Staff is friendly, inground pool both indoor and outdoor. This is our second time going to this hotel.
Rooms are very clean and updated for 2017. Pool is fantastic and the staff is friendly. Great location, walk to town. Nicest hotel I have seen in the area, we stay here every summer.
Great room. Nice pool area. Good service. They let us check in a couple hours early which was great.
The Holiday Inn has been the registration site for AMERICADE for as long as I can remember. The rooms are large and the staff is very friendly. The property is well kept and well along the standard that you'd expect from the Holiday Inn.
We stayed here to ski at Gore mountain and we really like the property. Managed well and clean. It has an indoor pool (nice sized) with a sauna, and outdoor hot tub. There is a small gym room next to the pool. When you walk out the front door of the hotel lobby you see a beautiful view of Lake George. Great stay.
