Enjoyed a great experience on a business trip to the Tri-County area while staying at the Holiday Inn in Norton, VA. From the fantastic breakfast, cooked to order each morning, to the extremely clean rooms, attentive service and wonderful southern hospitality at every turn.
I can't say enough about Tiffany and the the housekeeping team who helped me recover a pair of very expensive prescription sun glasses that I had left in my room. Not only did they have them set aside and labeled with my name and the dates of my stay, but when I called to see if I indeed had left them there, they confirmed that they had them and were kind enough to ship them to me via air freight clear across the country! I'm quite sure my associates and I will be staying there again when business brings us back to the beautiful Virginia countryside in the future. It's a no-brainer, can't-lose decision to plan your next trip around a stay at the Norton VA Holiday Inn!

The location is very easy to get to, the room was immaculate and very comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed every bit of it.

Decent location with good facilities, but older building. In the middle of a little remodel from what I could tell, maybe it will be better after. Beds are getting a little older. Workout room is well equipped, and there's plenty of parking. Has a neat restaurant on the 5th floor.

I was there for a business meeting. The hotel catered the lunch which was a baked potato bar. They were about 45 minutes late putting out the meal and then ran out before half of the people had eaten. They didnbring more food out, but it took forever. Lunch was supposed to last from 12 to 1, but instead lasted 2 hours.

Hotel is very dated could have used a remodel about 5 years ago. Went to the pool two different days and both times it was dirty. The restaurant service was great but the food sucked. The wife ordered fruit for breakfast and it had hair in it. Definitely does not live up to Holiday Inn standards.

Front desk was very helpful. Didnt have a microwave in our room so they got one from an empty room for us. Great food within walking distance. Internet was intermittent and unreliable and lack of continental breakfast was an unwelcome surprise.

When we visit our family in Mayking, Ky, we stay here in Norton. Customer Service is top notch.
I see negative comments and have to laugh because it us impossible to please everyone.
I am especially impressed with the diligence the staff works on the housekeeping.
And Front desk went out of their way for our needs/wants.
The locals are friendly as can be.
My wife is a non smoker and has very high standards on hotels. She is 100% pleased with this place.
I never give 5 stars but I'd score this at 4.75

Great inside pool! Quiet atmosphere. Good downtown location. Wonderful hotel restaurant on top floor.. scrumptious food; reasonable prices and live casual band entertainment on Sat nights. Kids eat free in restaurant for hotel staying guests--nice perk. Free Wi-Fi for IHG rewards guests--also nice perk. Will be making return stays for future visits to Norton area.

Had some initial problem with door card and had to revisit front desk to get them recoded. Didn't bode well. However, room was great and hotel was clean and welcoming. Air conditioning controls had minor limitation, but was able to get room very comfortable. Room service for breakfast was right on time and on spot with what I ordered. The place to stay in Norton!
