We have stayed here several times. For this particular review we booked two rooms. We needed a handicap room for an elderly mother and it was perfect. The shower had a chair and nothing to step over. The manager, Joseph, and the rest of the staff are incredibly accommodating. The rooms are clean, the coffee is great, and the breakfast selections are healthy. Book in advance as this is the best place to stay in Ashe County.

Beautiful, felt like a family friendly resort stay. Gorgeous mountain views, could almost walk right into charming downtown West Jefferson,. Customer service was really special! The complimentary breakfast was above average. Really happy with our choice.

Service is decent, as was the room. Did not try the restaurant though. Close to fast food and sit down restaurants and shopping.

This hotel has an amazing view! Very up-to-date decor and furniture. All the rooms are very nice I stayed here multiple times and every room was equally as impressive. While I have not had to have much interaction with the hotel employees what little I have had was very pleasant. I think they take continental breakfast to a whole nother level! Great selection and hot meals. From bacon and sausage to omelettes and pancakes. The beds are Beyond comfortable and I love that they give you multiple pillows and label then on their soft or firmness. I always choose this hotel to come back to even though it cost a little more than the others because you truly get what you pay for!

Great stay, 24 hr tea/coffee, nice mattresses, magnetic door stopper to keep it from banging shut on you, nice breakfast with healthy options and his coffee creamers.

Standard Holiday Inn Express with a shockingly good view. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms are large. The complimentary breakfast is just ok but they do have a lot of options to just grab and eat (fruit, yogurt, muffins, etc)

All of the staff was super friendly and helpful!! The rooms and linens were all very clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and fun, and they had a variety of good food for breakfast. My family will definitely stay here again! I would recommend this place to everyone!

Great views of the mountains and a much more peaceful place to stay than Boone. We come here to get away from stress. Rooms are very clean, staff is friendly, and the breakfast is good.

We had a queen double so it was a little cramped. There is a small microwave and refrigerator. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly

Ultra-convenient NC mountain getaway. Clean, well-maintained property with an excellent and helpful staff. Beautiful views across the valley. Hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub. Breakfast is served every morning. Free wi-fi.
