The hotel staff was very kind and friendly. Common room was very clean and all the staff was very professional. Will definitely attend events at this location again in the future
Rooms are dated and are need of a little TLC - some of the fixtures were worn down, bathroom door was starting to splinter - but very large and clean. The king-sized bed we had was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on in awhile.
Got a good deal including good buffet breakfast so cant complain. Basic but functional. Quiet.
Very nice property. Used points for the one nighter and they upgraded me nicely to a suite. The staff is very friendly and gives the brand a good name. The place is very clean and well maintained. The art work in the room was interestingly good. The eagle statue in the lobby was very cool. There is ample parking.
Nice hotel for the location, not much around, but not too far from anything either. Nice indoor pool for kids, free breakfast too. Would definitely stay here again.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable but the pillows were flat, so I didn't sleep well and had a stiff neck.
But a very pretty and clean place
Nice choice if going to West Point. Also very close to scenic Bear Mnt.
Big rooms. Great service. OK breakfast. The only cons is the mattress.
the overall hotel was pretty nice but the room left something to be desired
Friendly, clean service. Continental breakfast was one of the best I've seen.
"Fine" is an apt descriptor. Staff are nice, if a bit hands off. Amenities are meh at best, with a lackluster gym and passable breakfast. Nothings wrong, but nothings right either. Parking is also a bit funny, which is odd.
Great hotel, Friendly staff. Good parking. Close to everything.
I had been driving from Eastern Long Island without a break when I spotted this lovely hotel around 1am. I stopped to stretch my legs. The gentleman running the place was very nice. There was fresh brewed coffee on, and and though it was apparent that I was not a hotel guest, the night clerk was very accomodating, and he happily pointed out the directions to the men's room, and even followed up to make certain that I had located it. I've done a whole lot of road travel in my day (and nights, LOL) - TOO often hotel clerks are rude, and it's always nice to find staff who are nice people who understand that their establisment is in the business of helping travelers. When I do meet such people, I often go out of my way on later visits to return to stay in these places. Cheers to Holiday Inn Express for never, ever disappointing us in our travels. You are loved!
