This is a very nice hotel. This hotel is very well kept. The staff, entire staff, is well-trained and very nice.

I was disappointed in my stay here! The 3rd of the hotel has been renovated, however we we're on the 1st floor and it was run down! When the heat kicked on(at 3am of course) it smelled like dirty feet and I ended up turning the heat completely off! The shower had mold in it, the chair in the room looked like someone spilled something on it and the complimentary breakfast was very bland and cold. When I complained about the room they asked why I didn't come down earlier and tell them but I wasn't planning on taking my child up at 3 am to go down and talk to them. They would issue me no discount or refund for the inconvenience!

This is your stock franchise Holiday Inn Express. During my stay the hotel was doing some construction on the third floor. I was awakened before 5:00 A.M. on two of my four mornings by the sound of dropping heavy bundles above (perhaps carpet or other heavy rolls - not sure). While that is likely a temporary issue, sub-par housekeeping is not. The housekeepers didn't re-stock coffee or cups, never touched he bathroom, and even forgot the trash one day - literally made the bed and left. The room was poorly lit and dingy. The internet connections had frequent issues that interfered with work. Not recommended.

Loss of satellite system couldn't get coverage in some parts of Yale Michigan plus need more trucker routes more truck route should be added when it says no trucks on certain roads or streets would be very helpful

A standard HIE as far as I'm concerned. Looks pretty much the same as any other one. Staff definitely seemed to actually care which puts them a few steps above others I've stayed at. Good location for a hotel being near the hospital, food, and town but still a bit off the beaten path for some privacy. Other guests leave something to be desired but that is true of any place really and isn't the hotel's fault. Would stay again if needed while in the area.

I enjoyed my stay there. The rooms were clean and included microwave and fridge. Comfortable beds and an updated look. Breakfast in morning with a great selection of hot and cold food. There also was a gym and an indoor swimming pool, which the kids enjoyed.

Very nice!! Very clean!! The whole place is just beautiful! ! OOH!! DIDN'T KNOW THE HAD BREAKFAST TOO!! THE BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT!! THEY had SO MANY CHOICE! IT WAS PERFECT! ! THE BUFFET WAS VERY GOOD!! I AM HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO PETS & CIGARETTES!.WHEN I went in room there was no smell of pets or cigarettes! It was so clean I love this place ! 1000 stars.

We booked this hotel for our wedding this past weekend. We had a very large group between the wedding party and all of our guests. I could not be any happier about our stay at the hotel. Their shuttle was a great amenity and our guests loved it. The staff was sooooo friendly and accommodating. A lot of hotels can be uptight and strict, but not here. They helped make our wedding a great success and I cannot thank you guys enough!! We appreciate everything Holiday Inn Express in Grand Blanc did for us. Thank you so much!

Hotel staff was really friendly, The hotel itself was very dated.The rooms were not clean.I checked in to room 318 and the carpet was extremely nasty.I was switched to another room 306 which had more carpet stains then the first room also The bed skirt was full of stains.
I was given blankets to put on the floors to protect us from the nastiness..I covered the floors, beds and chairs, just to get through the night with my small kid. They never even bothered to look at the floors I was given the blankets at the door
At least someone could have made sure I was comfortable in the 2nd room.
After chatting with other guest at the pool, they also were going to request blankets to cover their floors as well.response / report this review -

The TV wasn't working and there was not a desk or comfortable chair to work. Carpet felt sticky. However, the rest was fine and good people attending.

THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR WE HAVE STAYED HERE FOR THE POOL AND THE SECOND YEAR THE POOL HAS NOT BEEN WORKINGREALLY. YESTERDAY WAS TOLD, OH IT IS OK TO SWIM IN WE JUST NEED THE POOL TO CLEAR UP, TODAY SAME THING. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN THAT ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO SWIMMING I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU STAY HERE. THE STAFF WAS NICE ABOUT IT AND APOLOGIZED BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE UP FOR THIS PROBLEM. WE VISIT MI EVERY YEAR AND WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN.
