Hotel was good overall. There was no pool and the rooms were a little dated. Other than that, it was great!

I stayed here during a recent work trip. This holiday inn has been updated to the newer styling though it is an older building. Beds seemed relatively new (no body dents) and reasonably comfortable. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly and personable.

When my husband and I arrived we were greater nicely it was the checkout process that infuriated me. We checked out and immediately there was an additional charge. When I called and spoke to management I was accused of stealing two pillows. What makes it worse is that I called and complained about the pillows the night before my check out and left with a horrible neck cramp then turn around and get penalized for pillows I hated. Not to mention that's disgusting.
Management then said the housekeeper told him we stole it and he was rude. We absolutely left their crappy pillows. Then he said do your thing and I will do what I have to.
Plus the sink is next to the door and not in the bathroom. The bathroom is the size of a closet. Very disappointed I hope this hotel is not a reflection of Mass as this was my first time staying in a hotel in Mass. Stay across the street at the Hampton.response / report this review
