The staff was great. Very friendly and quick to lend a hand. The room was outstanding, with a desk and small kitchen. I would definitely stay with them again
Touring comedian Mark Fowles loved his stay here after the performances in downtown! The room was very comfortable, and clean, and there was a laundry room on-site to get caught up in the morning while enjoying the free breakfast. There is plenty of free parking and the staff is top-notch - they helped with a late check out since they were unable to check in until after the gig. Ignite Hospitality Services would like to thank you for providing such great hospitality to our clients while staying with you!
I'm on the road for business constantly. But not thrilled with this hotel stay. The hallways smell like beer. The room is neat and clean enough but too dark. Even with every light on in the room you can't sit at the desk and work or sit on the sofa and read a newspaper. Therr is a desk lamp but it cast a narrow beam. The young lady at the front desk was far from rude but see just did not seem very friendly.
Rooms decent if you need to get out of Florida for a hurricane evacuation. Don't expect anything fancy, or clean floors. It's a safe place to sleep with a shower and a fridge. Note to management: get rid of the guy begging for tips in the breakfast area. The day i checked out, he chased me out the door with his hand out. So unprofessional.
Touring comedian Tara Sharpe loved her stay here after her performance nearby! The room was very comfortable, and clean, and there was a laundry room on-site to get caught up in the morning while enjoying the free breakfast. There is plenty of free parking and the staff is top-notch!
Location is convenient to highways and shopping/dining. Staff are helpful, especially the breakfast attendant. Have never seen someone more enthusiastic about their job. Housekeeping staff could be more attentive about restocking bathroom supplies. Otherwise recommend this hotel for staying in Greenville area.
Very friendly staff, morning breakfast was quite good. However the breakfast room is very small, only 4 tables. Gym is quite small as well, 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical and a weight set. Pool is small and right out front by the parking lot, which was strange. Room was a decent size, loved having a small kitchen, bathroom was a good size as well. Only complaints, they didn't clean the room very well. With 2 small children I can tell when the floor hasn't been vacuumed, and the sofa bed is quite old and lumpy. Overall, we had a good 3 night stay, just wished they cleaned the room better.
The staff were really friendly. The room was bigger than I'd expected. Also the free breakfast was good. The premises were clean and nice.
As a traveling band sometimes you don't know what type of hotel you are going to end up in. This one however was top notch. Not only was the exterior well maintained, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were bigger than expected and most important very clean.
The location of the hotel is close to a nice mall with plenty of places to eat. We also used the laundry room and the machines worked great.
Highly recommend this location.
Moved to geeenville for work. Had to stay 2 weeks in a studio efficiency with my wife and 2 kids. A bit cramped for 4, but more than enough for 1 or even 2 people. Overall service was good. Clean rooms, dated building but can tell it has been renovated well. Has a concession store, a bit overpriced but the name is perfect "in a pinch". Good for not wanting to go out and paying more for staying home.
I was traveling for comedy when I stayed at TownePlace Suites Greenville Haywood Mall last week, and I really enjoyed my stay.
The lobby and front desk area struck me when I walked in -- the office's design was bright, fun and sunny, with a map-with-pushpin design on the wall. Shaniqua made short work of my check-in, and she was friendly and efficient throughout.
This room was really nice. I was really impressed with the floor plan -- they offered a lot for one room, and the layout presented it without its seem cramped.
The room had a sophisticated, spacious, contemporary desk with return and plenty of power and a walk-in kitchen with a large refrigerator and full coffee pot (vs. the one-cup variety you see in most rooms).
One of my pet peeves is moving furniture to get to outlets, so I was happy to see easy-to-access power on the lamps over each night stand and the desk.
The mattress was perfect, at least for me -- firm, but not a rock pile.
A nice touch for me was the bag of popcorn with a friendly, hand-written note, since I wasn't able to take advantage of the hotel's complimentary breakfast. Both kitchen and bathroom sported granite counters.
Overall a great stay. Can't wait to see these folks again!
