Wow, lots of books, especially sci-fi/fantasy, comics, and rare items. Take time to look through the stacks, or ask their knowledgeable staff, who usually knows if it is something they may have.

I can see why comic book/sci-fi fans love this spot--over half the store is devoted to the two genres. For a general-interest or classic lit fan, this isn't your best bet.

Nice place, crowded with books, so limited mobility for wheelchairs, mobility aids, or even carrying big bags. Buys books, though didn't want a lot of what I was getting rid of, once. Helpful, but busy people work there. Doing business, so don't chat too long, as have work to do. Not internet cafe atmosphere, reminds me of Buy The Book with Ellen Degenerous (sp?) TV store as part of a show before the talk show, iirc. Busy road, watch for kids, as across from a church school too, hence big in comic books, but not role playing, gaming, see victory and what is probably moving from n/s Washington & E./W. Broad (rt 7) & Lee across n. Washington from Brown's Hardware, main level, likely removing building for bigger City Place near Applebee's (think Silver Spring monstrocity behind AFI && increased density). Enjoy one of the few indie used book places left. Library booksales are cheaper, but harder to find stuff and knowledgeable help, so support, when able. Local lore source too.

I have been buying comic books from this place since the 80s, and it is one of the few places I insist on visiting every time I'm in northern Virginia. It's a quintessential quirky used books and comic store.

This has to be one of the best book/comic places on the east coast! No LIE! Build starshipsbuild starship NOW! The Nally's are great people, and they have created a most wonderful bookshop. You can find ANYTHING at this place!

The people who work there are all very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about things. They are also fun to talk to if it's not too busy. They will order a book for you if they don't have it they also have comic books, t-shirts, and posters.

Small, cozy, and chock full of books and comics. Classic used bookstore style with a friendly and helpful staff. Somewhat tight space but in an old, inviting way. The sci fi and fantasy selection is extensive and fun to browse due to the owner's personalized written commentaries.

This place is worth going to if only for the experience. Basically an old house just filled floor-to-ceiling with used books, comics and all kinds of geek gear. You will find stuff here that you haven't seen on the shelves in decades. It's not just sci-fi and fantasy lots of mystery fiction and nonfiction books as well. Such friendly and nice staff too! This is definitely worth doing a little shopping local in Falls Church especially if you like to do a little digging for a deal.
