I was not there staying as a guest. I was attending an event for a local lgbtq Center where I volunteer. While some folks that I know we're being honored, the event was not much fun as it was held in the ballroom was horrible Acoustics. No one could hear anything that was being said, as the sound bounced horribly off the walls. The videos reverberated so badly in the speakers on the hard floors that there was no way to tell what was being said. As a result, my partner and I ended up leaving after only a couple of hours. We didn't even make it to the dancing portion of the evening. Also, this may have been our event organizers choice, but the drink selections were extremely limited. The bar didn't even have Bailey's. And they made my amaretto sour with bourbon. I used voice to text to write this review so I hope that it is all coherent.

Just book one of the other decent hotels in Stamford. This place is terrible.

Booked this hotel for a night of respite midway home on a long trip, and aimed to check in late (11pm). One king suite. Called the hotel at 10am that morning, and was informed that everything was fine with my reservation. When I arrive at the hotel, they have given my room to other guests and (after verifying that I wasn't a Hilton Honors member, told me I would have to settle for a basic double full room. Charges $20 for parking, with a torturously full lot. Found black hairs under the sheets in one of the beds.

Staff very friendly and professional. Accommodating as well. Location is very near to NYC and surrounding area. Rooms are done traditionally with business in mind. Really enjoying our stay.

Driving up to the hotel, it looked nice. My Husband, and our two Kids, and myself were excited after driving all day to go check in seeing as how the photos of the hotel looked nice. The front desk clerk was friendly but explained to us that parking was $15 a night which we did not anticipate. The parking garage is dark and creepy and so tiny, our SUV barely fit. We notice the hallways and decor in the hotel is very dated and had a bad odor. We get to our room, and instantly notice how dated the room looks, but we didn't inspect it too much because we still wanted to get cleaned up and go eat because we were hungry. As I got into the bathroom to shower, I noticed the mirror had toothpaste on it and was very dusty but I proceeded to go take a shower. The shower knob got stuck and I couldn't change the temperature or turn the faucet off. I called my Husband in to help me, and with some force he was able to move the shower handle. As I was showering I looked up and at the fixtures, they were disgusting. There was mold all over. I quickly showered as it was getting late, and my Family all did the same. We were very upset that the room was gross, but we did not even know just HOW bad it was until later on. We went downstairs to the lobby at least happy we were finally going to get to eat after traveling all day, except our room would not lock with the key, after several attempts, we decided to call down to the front desk and they said they would send someone upwe waited over 5 minutes and called again, and the person who answered the phone sounded annoyed we were calling again and said "yes someone is on their way", after about two more minutes a man shows up and has a key of his own and he was rude to us and told us to use our key to lock the door, which we had tried several times already, but when he used his, it all the sudden workedthen we told him we tried that already and with a snide attitude said a very racist statement which did not even make any sense.
We get down to the restaurant, there is no one even there to greet us. After we finally get seated, the menus were dirty and sticky. The glasses on the table had smears on them. There was no menu items for Kids, so we asked if we could st have some pasta with butter on it. We had two quesadillas that were worse than from a gas station, two bowls of cold overcooked pasta with butter, 4 glasses of wine, and the Kids each had a dessert= $210!!!!!!!! Worst dining experience we have ever had. On top of that when our Kids were simply sitting at the table next to us, the waitress looked over and actually rolled her eyes at our Kids! She was extremely unfriendly the entire time. We went upstairs upset and feeling nauseous from the food and our experience so far. When we went back up to the room because we needed to get up early as we were taking the Kids to NYC for the first time. We went right to bed, but after our trip to the city which was fun, came back and really started to notice how dirty the room was. I will be attaching photos: The walls and lamps are all stained and old looking, warped and extremely dated. The lights on the ceiling are all rusted and very dirty. Under the bed, there was things that are not ours, such as a lighter and whatever else, looked very gross and not vacuumed in a long time. The tub fixtures are broken/cracked and moldy. The toilet bowl was the grossest thing I have ever seen! Mold all over the shower and ceiling. The emergency sprinkler in the room near the ceiling is very dirty and rusted out. The vents in the room were disgusting, dirty, and mildew. The shower head was FULL of mold and rust on tub faucet spout was green and rusted. The floor had dirt and mold in every corner and in the grout. The emergency alarm was sticking right out of the wall! I would bet not even functioning. My Family and I are extremely disappointed in our stay. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

I have been very pleased with this stay. They have been nothing less than kind, helpful, conscientious and willing to serve. Hotel is extremely clean, with beautiful rooms and a lovely lobby. Valet service has been top-notch, (though there is a nominal fee attached based on parking constraints related to its downtown location) they go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I'm extending my stay based on my great satisfaction with the hotel as a whole. No Hilton I've ever stayed at has disappointed.

We requested an early check-in. The room was ready when we arrived. We asked for a King 1 Bedroom Suite. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. They provided complimentary water and soft drinks. Our bill was emailed to us early before our checkout. An overall excellent experience.

A nice looking Hilton with plenty of space. The rooms are what you'd expect paying for a standard room, which is adequate if not better. WiFi speeds are fine. Bed was surprisingly comfy and breakfast had enough variety. The only thing I'd say was a complaint was the fact that the elevators were surprisingly far from the lobby.

Good with dogs. This hotel is part of an executive meeting center cluster. It's a bit challenging to know where to self-park, so be sure to ask. The room was clean, staff was friendly, and in-room dining was good (I'd recommend the veal ragu). For dogs, they have a nice green field with curteousy pickup bags.

Latin dance festival: the place was easy to find and the lobby was well-maintained. The dance floor was great considering most other places have a bouncy and sticky feel to them. However, the rooms (at least one of them) was a bit to warm, which made it very difficult to get through one song without sweating profusely.

Haven't been to this location since it came into Hilton's hands several years ago. I'm happy to report that it's absolutely lovely! We came up through the elevator and immediately stopped at the front desk where we were greeted like royalty. She was very accommodating and fun! Not the usual officious grumpy gus that so often works at hotels front desks. We had time to kill before the seminar, so we walked all over. The place was crawling with people, but everything was so clean. Bottom line, we'll be back! Next time for a sweet rendezvous with my love.
