Hotel room was clean and felt like it was recently renovated.

Under going renovation. Stained carpet in the room, spackle splashed on bathroom walls and floor, someone else's hair stuck in the wallpaper. Anemic Wi-Fi and no streaming allowed on the Tv's. Clear example of why other hospitality websites have earned so much of this market share.

pretty nice hotel. they are currently remodeling the rooms. I've been in the old room and the new and it's a mixed bag. some aspects of the old rooms I like better some aspects of the new rooms I like better. old rooms seemed more functional but the new rooms are definitely more aesthetically pleasing. the colors of the decor is brighter. but I still like the old showers and sinks better. anyway the older rooms are showing some age so see why they're renovating. but I question the qa/qc as there are a few areas where it could've been done better. there is an Italian restaurant that's pretty good also. full bar. free parking garage. overall still a pretty nice place

Great place to stay - next to beautiful park and downtown Stamford. Very clean, brand new furniture in rooms. Breakfast to go was good too.

Remodeled and so nice. The room was perfect clean, quiet, comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The front desk staff were all efficient, but not very friendly.

Enjoyed two nights here. It was close to activities and was quieter than many other hotels I've stayed in over the years, although the doors are quite loud when they close. Good breakfast choices. If book here again.

First time I've stayed in a Hampton inn that was in an old hotel - very cool. Also had a first rate Italian restaurant next door.

Ya know I was accustomed to staying at the Hilton Executive in Stamford, but new hires made hospitality fall on its face. This place is now better, great family restaurant sets it aparthowever, the “honors” breakfast at both hotel locations are lacking, as if the lowest bidder won the auction of servicereally bad breakfast. But gets the job done much like oatmeal or porridge.

1st visit. Very comfortable room and very quiet. Morning breakfast was great as well. Went out in the a.m. venturing the area..returned at 3pm to find room had not been serviced yet. Overall had an excellent stay and will return.

Rooms were nice and clean. Staff was helpful in helping us get around Stamford. Plus there was free coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby.

Check in was simple. The rooms are very nice. The rooms includes a refrigerator and microwave, but the refrigerator wasn't on at first. I had to twist the knob and it fell off, so I had to twist the metal behind the knob. It then worked, which was enough to chill my leftovers. There's a large vanity outside of the bathroom/shower which is nice. The showerhead is coming off the wall, but works fine and water pressure is fine. All in all very nice room.

My second time staying, and just as good as before. Everything seemed in order for a hotel of this class. I like the very close by parking garage - easy walk without needing to valet. Breakfast was decent, and plenty of bacon. Only complaint I can think of is that I wish they had proper glasses for drinking instead of paper cups.

Seriously such an amazingly beautiful location to stay at!. Perfect for walking to work or for a stay on vacation!. Staff is awesome and the stay was comfortable.

Really nice, well-appointed clean room. Traditionally decorated and comfortable with a beautiful English garden with ivy on the walls out back. Typical Hampton food, which has steadily been going downhill for years, they're all like this, not just this hotel.

Villa Italia was absolutely amazing. Authentic family-style Italian with a great staff and management that knew how to truly engage the guests in the experience. The food and beverages were fantastic and I will DEFINITELY return, as well as use Seamless to get delivery for a night in.

Easy to get to, ample parking. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are decent, clean and the suite we got had plenty of room.
