I have been in Chicago since 1979 and Hilltop was open and still open. The food is great, the service is excellent and very reasonable prices. I eat at Hilltop almost every other day.

Went here with my dad, both of us agree that this place is amazing. Ordered the Wisconsin Cheese Curds and the smokehouse burgers we had were great. Definitely recommend coming here.

We stopped on our way to Lake in the Clouds, we ordered the cinnamon roll. HUGE!! And delicious. Then on our way back we stopped for lunch. I personally think anyone traveling that way should stop. Very clean and very friendly staff.

We are a family of four. We were staying at Baraga State Park and decided on the Hilltop for breakfast based upon the reviews here. It turned out to be a fabulous choice. It was our first ever visit to the Hilltop Restaurant. Great food + great staff = The best breakfast out that we have had in a long, long time. The cinnamon roll completely lives up to the hype! It was a little taste of heaven. But make no mistake, there's nothing little about it! Lila was our server and she was very helpful and courteous. It was a great all around experience! I think a new traditional stop here has been established!

We were passing through and were told of the amazing sweet rolls they had. The hype was totally on point! The rolls were fabulous and the value price for the large servings was worth the stop. Totally recommend stopping in if you are passing by or just a great day trip. In the area will definitely make the trip!

Great, fast service, good food. Parking big enough for travel trailer. We come here every year when we are up here.

If you leave here hungry it's your own dang fault!! Never in my life have I ever had a TRUE homemade breakfast buffet. They have homemade breakfast pizza, homemade toast, homemade THICK french toast, awesome flavorful breakfast potatoes, homemade cinnamon rolls. The eggs are actually cooked fresh not liquid eggs in a bag. Even the sausage links are cooked fresh not deep fried like you see on a typical breakfast buffet. For $8.99 a person you DEFINITELY CAN NOT go wrong!! Make sure you bring an extra stomach!!

Love it! Good food and nice waitresses. We went in for breakfast the first day of our trip. Super nice waitress and she didn't charge us for a hot chocolate because I had to remind her. I have never had that happen before. It was so good we went back on our way out of town. A group of 22 on a Sunday morning and they got us right in and where so nice! Good breakfast buffet and the big cinnamon rolls are good and fun for the kids. A must go if your up that way!
