This is a great bar for an after work event or for a major sporting event. I recommend the spuds el grande with the spicy barbecue sauce. Probably one of the best appetizers you can get anywhere. The beer selection is awesome too with several seasonal options that rotate in and out. The happy hour deals are a nice bonus as well.
Stopped in on a Sunday to grab a beer and a sandwich with some friends. Plenty of big TVs viewable throughout the restaurant. Good beer selection. Chicken sandwich was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and routinely stopped by the table to check on us. This was the third or fourth time I've been there over the years. A very nice sports bar.
Great food and service. Tasty beer. Hard to go wrong here, and on Sunday love watching all the football games at the same time
Locals bragged. It was good. Locals bragged it was good. 12 oz ribeye. Locals bragged about sweet potato fries too. Not wrong. Waitress brewed me coffee and let me "camp out" doing extra work from my job and surf Imgur to relax. Chill staff.
Great drink selection for a sports bar. One of the few places to get gumball head on tap! Food is also pretty good as well, I recommend the burgers.
Always great food and even better wait staff. They are always the sweetest and most attentive staff.
Heroes is great lots of big screen tvs for sports, but we go there for the great food. Huge delicious wings, great pulled pork, waffle fries and burgers and a large variety of other options.
The food was good and it was a great environment to be in with family the only bad thing I have is that it takes a while for the food to be done. Good Job!
When I'm racing at Autobahn Country Club, the only place I go to eat in the area is Heroes West. Great beer selection, really good bar good. Good atmosphere. I like this place and I'm not even a sports bar person.
Really horrible experience. Don't get me wrong, the food was excellent. But everything you get here you have to ask for. Get a burger well if you want any toppings you have to be the one to bring it up otherwise you will get a plain burger. The biggest problem here was my waitress, Taylor. She came by my table probably 3 times the whole visit. One to take my order. One to drop off my food. One to collect her money. I needed a fork the entire meal but she was nowhere to be found. It was obvious The check was supposed to be split but wasn't. When we needed her to split it we had to wait for 20 minutes. Just the way she talked to us was horrible. I felt discriminated. I would understand if they were busy, But they were not! Horrible visit will never be back
Great food and craft beer selection!! Super friendly staff. Great for the whole family. Beer garden and awesome modern party room work a great ambience! Easy access off of I80 and Hoboult Road.
Pretty fn good
Haven't had the famous wings or burgers yet, but everything I've had was great. Insane beer selection. Craft heads, this is your spot. Highly recommend
I came here ready to write an angry review regarding the past couple of times I've visited. Both times the front end staff seemed to drop the communication ball which resulted in our parties being frustrated and left in the dark. When it happened again I was convinced I wouldn't be returning, but after sitting down and being waited on by the lovely Ariel it was hard to stay upset and our entire table's mood lightened. The waiters and waitresses always are absolutely wonderful and are willing to help you out or make other accommodations. When I inquired about a beer on all occasions a sample was brought to me, sometimes multiple so I could chose between which one I wanted. And there are PLENTY of choices!
The food is moderately priced and pretty good. A lot of it is your typical bar fare, but there are some hidden gems on the menu. Overall, I think this is a better place to go if you want to sit in the bar area and have a couple of drinks and apps while watching a game.
I've been a long time Hero's customer going back to the Raynor and Jefferson St. days. Back in the days gone passed, Hero's was known for their hamburgers. Simple, delicious and usually cooked quite well. But not anymoreaside from having the perfect buffalo wing sauce, I'm afraid those glory days are long goneat least for me.
I feel I should add that the problem isn't the beer. Both the selection, and freshness of their beer is really above par. Also, the way that they have their beer menu could be a lesson to some other places (Tap House). The menu is easy to read, categorized by beer type and a list of all critical information is usually givenway to go Hero's!
Where Hero's falls short is with the current food that they serve. I haven't had one simple lackluster meal therebecause of their convenient location, and beer selection, I've had numerous lackluster meals.
I almost feel like I want to rate it higher, afterall I do like the beer and I have a long history of going to this establishment. But the food, over the years has gotten pretty sub-par. I say that I'd like to rate it higher, but the results are in how little I go here nowwhich is hardly ever.
Great beer selection (I count 40 taps). Attentive bar tender. I was here by myself as I was staying at the hotel next door. I had the "spuds El grande," which is like loaded cheese fries with pulled pork. Portion was huge, flavor just okay, pulled pork was dry and bland. To be fair, I'm from Kansas City, where pulled pork is something of its own religion, and I came in pretty late, like 9:30.
