The customer service is fine, the store is pretty clean, the selection is great, the prices are horrendous! I know they have to stay afloat, but nobody with a budget as tight as mine can shop there. Back when I had some extra cash I shopped there often to get some vegan foodstuffs, and to try out new vegan foods, I have not been there in months since my budget has been cut.

For instance, they focus mainly on organic foods, since they believe in the whole "GMO is bad" pseudoscience. Because of that the prices are sky high for products that are not any healthier than their counterparts, just more expensive because they got a label on them. For instance, regular pudding at Dollar General is a 1$ for a pack of 4 cups, vegan soy pudding here is 5$, which I can't fathom why because soy is cheaper than dairy. I can also get Yogurt at Food4Less for 40 cents a cup, but Daiya vegan yogurt is 2 dollars for the same size cup. I understand raising prices to get a revenue, but this is ridiculous.

Aside from the pseudoscience of the GMOs that they promote, this establishment is also prominently anti-vaccine, which is a dangerous form of idiocy pushed by emotional wrecks who can't handle evidence.

I used to shop here every now and then, and they have a ton of good options, but I am not sure I can give money to such a shady anti-science place.

But like I said, the people and selection are fine though, but the prices and message is beyond crazy. Only shop here if you the money in burning a hole in your pocket.

Was going to be 2 stars, but I read the post by RenegadeDouche. He seems to have an issue with everywhere he shops, so his attack means 0 to me.

A way above average mom and pop store of which this country is squashing to bits. Yes, some of their prices are higher but they can't survive under the weight of Monsantos good buddies Whole Foods with their phony labeling policies. Whole Foods are now Fake Foods they will never get another penny from me. If you have an IQ above 70 you should follow suit.
One of my favorite homey places to pick up last minute anything is shutting it's doors end of Octoberr. I nearly cried to the owners son. It's like a good friend moving away. One of the few health conscious stores in this depressing area and it's leaving. For all the cheap seeking idiots out there as Lucy W. commented..go shop at some cheap stores and please Lucy eat all the GMO's you can stuff in your gullet. I call you an idiot justifiably as you think GMO's are safe. They are not. Rats with tumors are not so healthy.
Healthy Horizons I have loved you guys from day one. Indiana is in the dark ages far as health. You were a beacon of light here. I'll miss you more than you will know.

The store owner, Mike, and his son really helped me out. I was having a bout of stress and anxiety, and they helped point to a few products that brought back my mood, focus, appetite, etc. Just want to say thank you.

I've been going to this place for around 10 years (infrequently because I live in Indianapolis, but), it's great! I love the ability to easily find vegan food and snacks that other stores do not carry. The stuff that is carried elsewhere is comparable price wise.
