I stay here most of the time when I come to Wichita, its pretty clean and the rooms are nice. For the price its not bad some people may want to pay more but if you can get it for a good price online I would recommend giving it a try. They have free breakfast which is sausage or ham, eggs, potatoes or biscuits and gravy. My first rooms heater didn't work and the comp me another room this time staying there. Overall I like the location being out east and its easy to get to places I want to go. Plus its right off of Kellogg so you can get on the freeway to get to your location quick.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Hot tub wasnt open and tennis court was falling apart. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were apartment like. A very different feel than average hotels, i liked it. Full kitchen with dishes and pots and pans came in very handy. It did seem like the other resident enjoyed themselves very much as i heard them having sex multiple time during the night. The water wasnt dirty, it made me feel clean, unlike my upstairs neighbors who sounded very very dirty. The bed was a bit stiff, a bit like my upstairs neighbors. It sounded like they were constantly trying to find a better position. Price was fair

The staff is amazingly friendly. The rooms are big and spotless. And there is a great amount of privacy and you can't really hear other people. I love it here.

20-30 people had a party upstairs from us. We had a 7month old and a 2 year old. We were very tired and didn't need this all night. And the lady at the desk did NOT care one single bit. Didn't offer a refund, a future free night, a discount, not even an APOLOGY!!!! Everything was pretty cool, just remember they let anyone and everyone stay here and party and Lord knows what else!! Definitely doesn't describe the way Hawthorne Suites usually treat their guests, which is usually very good. Lol not at this franchise I guess???

My husband and I booked a room at this hotel in advance for our trip to Omaha and for our return trip a week later. Don't be fooled by pictures or any statements online at this site. They are not a true representation of this hotel. The minute we drove up we could see the exterior was in need of serious repair. The sign outside the entrance said they were remodeling so we asked for a newly remodeled room to avoid run down conditions. The only remodeling was a head board and possibly carpet. The room was filthy, we could never connect to their WiFi and their website said they had evening social hours but when we asked they said it was only one night a week. The Wyndham should not have their name connected with this particular hotel. We cancelled our reservation for our return visit the minute we checked out.

Our air conditioner at home went out and we chose this hotel for the value and location. Although there is construction going on the hotel is still fairly easy to access. The front door guy was very nice and respectful. The rooms were way bigger than expected. It reminded me of an apartment. It was set up like a 2 bedroom 2 bath loft with I bed and bath upstairs and downstairs. There's a huge kitchen and living room with a fire place. There rooms were fairly clean but age was definitely showing. The room smelled of stale smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The carpet was fairly old and you could see fingerprints all over the interior doors. Customer service was stellar but the rooms could use some improvement.

The room was great, although the breakfast could have been better. Have stayed there twice now and had a decent experience both times. I would stay there again.

I recently stayed at this hotel. When I made my reservation online the website was having issues and booked me on that day's date and not the date I needed. I caught the error the next day. I called the hotel and spoke with a gal at the front desk and explained the issues. She went and talked with the manager and was told no problem, we credit you and rebook you for the following week as need. When I arrived the next week and checked in I explained to the girl at the front desk the situation and they told me they would apply the credit towards the night I stayed. But after returning home a couple of nights later I discovered they had charged my credit card a second time for ANOTHER NIGHT and even at higher price. So I called the hotel again and asked to speak with the manager. I was told the manager would call me and the never did. I travel almost a 100 nights a year and this hotel is BS. I would never stay there again, and sure won't suggest anyone else stay at this property either. Stay at your own risk.

This place is in shambles. Our room had holes in the walls, carpet that was peeling up and patched, a half-made bed, old air-fresheners in every corner and a crumbling wooden stairway to the entrance. There are at least 5 other hotels within walking distance that are well-maintained and cost the same! We asked for a refund, the staff at the front desk told us the GM was out, but they would process the refund by Monday. It has been 10 days and no refund. Every time I call, the GM is out or unavailable. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Cigarette stained counter tops. Torn carpet. Busted door frames. Out door entrance with old, unpainted, creeky wooden stairs. Supposedly 3 Star. Avoid this place.

The worst experience ever and I've stayed in many hotels as a traveling construction worker. I Stayed in room 412 and there must be what sounded like 47 people in the room above me. I called the front desk and invited them to listen. He declined but did apologize. He said a family moved in up there.
I am here for 2 nights and can't wait to leave.
Rooms smelled like piss and they know this because there are 3 Glade Gel air freshners, carpet is disgusting, bed is in the shape of a banana, and I will probably have lice, crabs, or HIV when I leave. (I will update on health issues) This place is a joke and need condemned.response / report this review -

Not what we expected from a 3 star hotel. Outdated, didn't smell cleaned, used soap left in shower. Smelled like a musty mans cologne when we first walked into room. We were given a hard time when requesting additional pillows and a blanket. T. V. was small and we had our 2 kids sleep on a twin size pull-out couch. One ended up sleeping on couch cushions. Loud upstairs noises and music that had deep bass sound from across the street or nearby hotel. Worst hotel experience my family has ever had. Breakfast was only thing good. Our ice maker didn't work as well. Avoid staying here!
