I have fallen in love with this little bookstore! I found used titles in great condition that I have been looking to purchase for a while now. I paid just as much or less than I would've to get them used from Amazon or B&N plus I got to support a local business. I also found new titles that I just couldn't put down and can't wait to delve into this winter! I will definitely be returning to this gem.

I love coming to this used bookstore. There are a ton of books in every category imaginable. Prices can be on the high side considering they are used books, but I am a frugal shopper. I have found some great books here. There is even a bargain section of which the proceeds are donated to a local charity. Parking in back off the alley, or metered street parking. Very convenient hours to shop. They buy books from anyone to stock the store.

I love the Haunted Bookshop! Friendly cats, helpful staff, a shared love for books and similar treasures! The cozy atmosphere and fascinating titles that rotate thru are sure to put you in the mood to read! Their website may need a little TLC, but don't be fooled--go in person! It's well worth the trip.

An excellent used bookstore with a broad selection of fiction and non-fiction. Nicely organized in a cool old building. Comes complete with two friendly bookstore cats!

Super cool place. He books are varied and affordable, they have a nice selection of boardgames and toys too. The cats are cute and guard everything. It's a house that has essentially been filled with shelves, I love the atmosphere.

I just visited for the first time since they moved to their new location and was happily surprised by the new space - lots of interesting nooks and corners to explore in this historic building. The books are thoughtfully selected and generally in very good condition, and they've also added a nice selection of games, puzzles, and crafts. We sold about 80 teen and young adult fiction books in excellent condition and got $120. Some reviewers would seem to feel this was an unfair trade, but we were thrilled to get a little cash while passing along books our son loved to someone else and helping keep this wonderful small business in operation. We also found the owner and staff to be extremely friendly and willing to chat, even during the busy Christmas bustle. Will definitely be making this a regular "haunt."

I love this store. I have always loved this store. For an independent bookshop, I couldn't ask more. The staff are *complete* book-nerds, which is the most useful of qualities when searching for off-beat or rare items, and even for mainstream texts. I think the staff have made an extra effort with conventional customer service since the move to Gilbert St. by greeting customers and asking if they need help finding things, but it's certainly not what I would expect from this kind of store- I would expect to have to hunt them down and ask them for something if I needed it. Shopping independent bookstores is a special experience, and this one is by far my favorite.
