This is the cutest place I have been to all week since moving to Iowa City. I don't drink coffee, but, I love the vintage root beer in glass bottles. 💖😚

The Best Little Coffeehouse in Iowa. In memoriam of Bill Sackter (who the film Bill, starring Mickey Rooney, was about). An exemplary citizen of Iowa City whose legacy for kindness and music lives on in their weekly open mic and musical shows. Don't miss a chance to buy a good book for a buck and see a piece of Iowa City cultural history to boot.

Uptown Bills is a very open and accepting place. Anyone is welcome. If you need a place to meet very genuine people in Iowa City, this is a great option.

Not much of a coffee shop. More of community center and for that it's a stellar place. If you are looking for the stereotypical "Coffee House" this is not what you are looking for. Lots of events and meetings.

This is an interesting place, undoubtedly, but if you're in search of an actual coffee house, I'd head elsewhere. I walked in and there was a singular coffee pot in the back. There's an actual coffee shop down the street towards down town on Dubuque, if that's what you're on search of.
