A great place to spend an afternoon or in the evening to explore plants and statues that have been created by mainly volunteers.

What a treasure! My in-laws live in Hartwell and I came across the garden just driving around seeing the pretty homes early one morning. Great design, lots of labels, awesome pruning skill exhibited! Enjoyed it all until a horsefly decided my bald head was his target as I passed the Bartram marker and I high-tailed it out of there! I enjoyed the beauty and learned a lot.

We really enjoyed our visit. Nice combination of sunny and shady gardens. On a warm day the shade is welcome. The fern dell was very peaceful and the flowers were amazing. Took about an hours to slowly walk the gardens. I also appreciated the education because so many plants and trees were labels.
