Excellent buffet. Delicious food and good value.
We had a wonderful dinner with excellent service and pampering from our server, Jason. Five stars to the chef for the lamb and veal dinners. We will definitely return for more delicious food and five-star dining experiences.
Really nice atmosphere! Great place to either enjoy a delicious sandwich or indulge in one of their gourmet entrees. Live entertainment 5 days a weekvery rare to see that anymore!
This is certainly the most upscale restaurant in Johnstown, PA. The quality of the food is excellent and the wine list options are incredible for the location. Having eaten in many high-end restaurants in the Pittsburgh area, I would say this wine list is equal to or better than the top ten in "the Burgh." Having worked in some of the best restaurants in the U.S., Chef Chris and his staff are top notch and have struck a good balance of reasonably-priced menu items with those you'd expect to see in any fine dining establishment. Dining on the wine deck for a special occasion or during one of the restaurant's famous wine pairing dinners with celebrity chefs or "high-end" food and wine purveyors is always a pleasure to experience.
Would not recommend it for a dinner date.not if you want a second onebut a good place for takeout.
I was hesitant to go after reading the mixed reviews, but glad I did. I had the arancini and citrus crab salad; both were very good. The only draw back are the wine options. You can either spend a ridiculous amount for a VERY nice bottle, or you can spend a few bucks for a run-of-the-mill glass. There needs to be a middle ground for me to come back.
Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Service was attentive and quick. Menu was not very appealing. Spinach artichoke appetizer was bland. My wife thought the lobster macaroni and cheese tasted like canned tuna. My chicken Marsala had good flavor but was served over wet pasta. The deserts were prepackaged and just OK. We were not offered the bar menu as another table in the dining room was.
