Sat at the bar, happy hour drinks are watered down. Stick with beer. Nice location, friendly service. The seafood selection is mostly fried. Inexpensive afternoon- nice walk on the pier.

Atmosphere is great, service was terrible !!!! Party of 8 no refills, took forever to get food and had to get to go because we had tickets for the Christmas Cruise. We arrived in plenty of time (at least we thought 1 1/2 would be sufficient) to get a meal and to board our cruise. We had to get everything to go because the service was so bad. We even told the waitress that we were going on the cruise and need to be done in time. Took way to much time between drink orders (all non alcohlic) and meal orders. Whenever we have guest in town we like to take them the Harpoon Harry's because of the great atmosphere, but never again. We will find a new place with much better service.

BLATANT BIGOTRY ON DISPLAY - “blatant”
I have been in the area for a month due to work and I’ve eaten at almost every restaurant in Fisherman’s Village TWICE! I ate here the 1st time I came to the area so I decided to get back today.
Seating was self serve in the afternoon of 10/20 and I sat right behind another couple down near the water. I came to do some work and was in no hurry. I review the drink menu and expected a food menu would come soon and continued to work.
I’m an old Skool Black guy that has seen “a lot” so nothing bugs me but the can see wrong around the corner. For TEN SOLID MINUTES, I watched this young white guy walk past me “repeatedly” some 10-20 times.
In my watching I watched him INTENTIONALLY look the other way as he walked past me as if to say, if I don’t see you, you are not there..
I watched to ENSURE there could be no questions about his actions which didn’t take long (about 2 minutes) I calmly got up and left.
Every time I’ve gone to this area I have been the only person of my complexion but I’ve not been treated differently ANYWHERE ELSE, but here!!

Such a great place to grab a beer or gator bites. .yum!!
My boyfriend and I loved it there, ate Afew times there while in fla.
Always at the bar, great people a really great view out to water.
Beers, good food, water views and my guy!!!

Visited Harpoon Harry's today with my Mom. Originally sat at the middle table, however , soon after an Oceanside setting was available and asked, I believe , it was Austin ,if it was okay to sit there. He was very quick to clean the table , courteous and professional . Mercedie was our server. She was also quick , considering it was busy, professional and courteous . I opted for the conch fritters . They were hot, freshly made and delicious . Then, for entree, the monk fish on salad. The fish fresh, flaky, grilled correctly , decadent. I also decided on the key lime pie, although looked freshly made, was marginal. This restaurant is ideally located in the water and that, in itself is great, for this writer. The fish , fresh and cooked right and the fresh conch fritters , very good. Mercedie was attentive in just the right proportion and that is appreciated. I recommend this restaurant for all interested in ocean scenery, fresh fish and good staff , Enjoy🍀

4 star view. 4 star service. 2 - 3 star food. Packaged prepared food nothing special. I would come back for drinks, but not to eat.

The food was exceptional only to be Out done by the service. Whitney and Keri couldn't have been nicer. They made us feel right at home. If you are in the area I recommend going and asking for either Whitney or Keri. Five star food and five star service.

Ive read many reviews and not many are very good. We usd to go there for the music but its just not worth that anymore! The service is terrible, you try to complain to the manager and shes rude! The food all tastes the samenot good! The only thing good is the viewjust walk in. Check out the sunset and leave. You think after all the bad reviews they would try to improve things. Havent seen it yet!

Both our draft beer and the beer sampler were warm.
The grouper plate was not good. Greasy, and fishy. Not your typical fresh Florida grouper. Disappointing for sure. Service was also lacking. Atmosphere was fun, view was great from patio, but don't waste your time here. Try the other place further in the mall maybe ?response / report this review -

I'm giving this place 5 stars because for what this place is, a restaurant that seems to get its business from tourists, the food was very good and prices were very reasonable if not less than most restaurants in the area, great selection too. Location is the best we've been to in the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area. So happy we found this place. Just moved not too very far away so I think this place will surely be a regular for us. Very friendly server too.

Great food great people. Completely remodeled the new look is amazing. The place is packed. The food and Spirit is amazing. All around a must stop by for eats and drinks.
