Best place on earth for primitive camping with the family. Close enough to the regular campground yet far enough away to rough it. Great facilities and the employees make you feel like family.

Good place to bring the kids camping in the wilderness. No water or electric in the wilderness portion of the campground, but riverside camping is plentiful. Lots of rednecks, and large groups, and atv trails galore. What more could one ask for? Very strict rules regarding noise and speeds on the trails. Good place. Not far from ft myers.

This place is amazing! It is a beautiful campground next to the serene Peace River. Lots of fun to camp at, and has enough space for the whole family to have a great time. However come prepared for mosquitoes, raccoons, and other wildlife, or you will encounter some unpleasant surprises!

Our campsite and the whole campground had trash everywhere with raccoons to go with it. The none stop ATVs with stereos attached to them is annoying especially when you're trying to get your kids to bed. Over priced for our bad, horrible experience.

I give this place not even one star. This place is full of disrespectful workers. They are racist and disrespectful . They start trouble with new customers. This older man that works there raned into my daughters face yelling at her right into her face we got scared because we thought she was going to get hit by him. We left as soon as that. This camp ground would've been a nice place to enjoy but the people who work here are VERY disrespectful.

I love being out hear . If I just want to get away from the city this is the place u can ride ur toys and get muddy and go swimming and swing off the rope swing. There are gators and and raccoons who come out at night so if I love being in the woods and love nature then come hear. I been coming hear for 3 years in a row and I love it

Very professional. They get you in and out really quick and are quite organized. They will deliver supplies to your campsite if needed. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

We have been coming to Peace River Campground since I was a child, but after our last trip, we will NEVER return! We always come as a large group, are very respectful and courteous, help our fellow campers when they need it just as they do for us. However, not only were my fiancee and his cousin's wrist bands taken away for trying to race my son to the bathroom, overly harassed by 'security', kept up all night by a site close by screaming profanities all night long (yet THEY were not stopped by security) but to top it all off, we paid for the entire weekend arriving Friday, along with the $10 a day per person wrist band for anyone driving OR riding ATVs, and then were completely rained out by the middle of Saturday (no one's fault but Mother Nature) but were not offered any money back for the time that we paid for that we COULDN'T and DIDN'T stay. The staff, except two of the ladies in the office are horrible and rude. The guys on the golf carts are the WORST!! And the man named George who thinks he is the King of Peace River is absolutely the meanest most horrible man that I have ever met. He has no compassion for children, illness, or accommodating his guests only the money that he can force out of their pockets. If you want to enjoy your camping trip DON'T COME TO PEACE RIVER CAMPGROUND, IT'S NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE!!!!!!!
