  this place its old, but the food its good, the guy with the glass who cook my food was good , and the steak cook just the way I wanted.

  The server and cook were rude and not polite. After I was sat I was ignored for over 10 minutes. The server gave me a vibe as if I was inconveniencing her by being there. She was very short with me, didn't bother to talk about the menu or make any recommendations. I ordered an entree that came with an appetizer and dessert; but she didn't bother to ask me what I wanted for those items or at least tell me that the cook would get those specifics later. I would say "thank you" and she didn't bother to smile or say "you're welcome". I thought maybe if I continued to be nice and polite she would be more friendly but that was not the case. She brought out a salad and a fruit fly was in it. That was when I went to the host stand and told three ladies everything that happened. They were apologetic but I was upset and not looking for anything free so I left without any resolution. I will never return.

  If you visit the movie theater in the same shopping center, you often get discounts at Happy Sumo when you show your ticket stub. Food is ok, they tend to go heavy on the sauces.

  I give it only 3 stars because the sushi was great, but it took an hour after ordering to get it. Not to mention. I saw the waiter only twice in the hour and 45 mins we were there.

  Fantastic food, people and atmosphere. I go weekly and they have always provided an excellent experience. If you love sushi ask the chef to surprise you and you will get something truly amazing.

  Possibly the worst shrimp on the entire planet. I feel extremely nautious after this terrible experience. I suggest, going to the sea and eating raw shrimp before you eat here. I prefer taking a laxative over eating here.

  I wanted to stop by to just get saki ended up staying for the food the design makes u transport out the country little vacation and full submersion into a wonderful culture and food they were fast friendly food was more than on point love this place

  Happy Sumo is a great place for friends and family. You will have a different experience depending on which cook you get.
  Some are great conversationalist and other will have you laughing the whole night.
  Even on busy nights there isn't to long a wait time.
  The food is a little pricey for my taste but you get what you pay for! The sushi is some of the best in the Peachtree area.
  If you you are looking for a fun environment for dinner Happy Sumo is the place for you.
