The did was really good as well as the atmosphere. But the service definitely could have been better. For the price I would expect a lot more from the staff.

My husband's family is originally from Sumter, and we just visited this past weekend. Dining at Hamptons was a true highlight. Honestly, this might be the best restaurant in SC, and we've been all over the state. The Chef is an expert in creating fabulous cuisine in a relaxed, upscale setting. Our dinners were nothing short of spectacular, and the service, from Kyle our waiter, was outstanding. The wine list is phenomenal. If you are in the region, I highly recommend Hamptons. It's a real treat.

Wednesday evening in October, so atmos not great, although staff are conscientious and attentive. But wonderful wonderful food and a really genuinely American wine list! Would recommend to anyone. Pork chops are to die for.

Need a book to say all the wonderful things to say about this magnificent restaurant. Before we even arrived they made us feel important. When we walked in, the ambiance was great; elegant yet not stuffy in the least. From start to finish every single person made it their duty to make sure we were happy, didn't need or want for a thing. The food? Inspired and delicious! Wished there had been room for more as the desserts look great. You cannot order anything that isn't a slice of perfection. Can you tell, we loved this place? Drive, fly, run to Hamptons, you will be glad you did and your stomach will thank you!

Hampton's staff make the dining experience worth while. We had Sunday Brunch with friends and the wait staff made us feel special. I had the Blueberry Pancakes with Applewood Bacon and two eggs over easy. My wife had the fluffiest omelet she let me taste and I stole some of her hash browns. I will order that next time. Great Brunch menu, what a way to start the day.

Very friendly staff! Bartender was awesome, very nice, funny we were laughing all night! The owner sat and spoke with us! It was a great atmosphere I ordered rabbit! Desert was even better! Bon appétit

My family and I had brunch here for mother's day and the experience was absolutely horrible. First they lost our reservation and made us wait 30 minutes to be seated. After waiting almost 45 minutes for our food to be prepared, we were informed that they were out of chicken and waffles so two people in our party had to order a new dish and we all had to wait even longer to eat. The food was fine and our server was nice enough, but the management made no apologies about all of the inconveniences. We won't be coming back.

Velvet and the crew are awesome. The food is one of a kind and if you want something sweet get the strawberry cupcake! Don't forget to ask Velvet to make you a apple martini BEST I have ever had. YOU only need ONE!

Hands down the best food and service in Sumter. We love coming here with friends and family. Velvet and her wait staff are fantastic and attentive. The menu changes frequently based on the available fresh ingredients but never ceases to impress us. It is relaxed enough that we are comfortable dining with our young children for Sunday brunch or early dinner but nice enough that we would come here for a nice anniversary dinner.

Yes, the food is more expensive than your typical establishment in Sumter; however, you receive higher quality food and service. Well worth it in our opinion.
