I stayed one night at this hotel and was pleased with the accomodation. The rooms were clean and stocked with all the usual items such as coffee and coffeemaker, soap and shampoo, hairdryer. The bedding was soft and cozy. Check in and check out were quick and pleasant. There were several options for breakfast and the food was decent.

We stayed in a king bed suite. The room was very large and had a deal with drawers, a vanity bathroom area. Then a separate bar area with a mini fridge and microwave. The room was furnished nicely. It was beautiful and comfortable.

Nice hotel located adjacent to Kansas Star Casino. Extremely large for a Hampton Inn. Well-appointed. Interesting room layout, kind of like a suite but felt like a big family room. Service was excellent. Biggest complaint is as a casino hotel it's a tad smokey in the hallways, but the rooms surprisingly weren't bad.

We stayed in the 1br King suite. It was a good sized suite. Bathroom was big enough for a Jacuzzi tub but it had a regular tub. It also had two shower heads, one being hand held. The hand held had virtually no stream at all and was truly embarrassing that they even thought to include it. The ventilation was poor. The little kitchenette had a full size fridge and a small microwave, kitchen sink, and a small table. The carpet seam where it met the tile in the kitchen, was freezing and had strings that were 4 inches long. It made the room look shabby. The furnishings were comfortable and rustic. The hotel is decorated in the cowboy theme. For the king suite and the price we paid for it, I did expect it to be in better shape.

Convenient location off I-35. Rooms are clean, bed is firm and comfortable. Attached casino has 4-5 restaurants open depending on the night. Friendly staff.

We really enjoyed our stay at your hotel. We were there Thursday, Aug. 31st, and checked out Monday, Sept. 3rd. What I was very impressed with was the staff. We were there for my uncles 100th birthday celebration. Had a family reunion and everyone there was very helpful with whatever we needed. The only complaint I have is the shower curtain smelled sour when we went in. Thank you all for your service and kindness.

I found staff to be more than adequate. The room was perfect. The bed,bathroom and showerhead in itself was amazing. Parking made me feel secure for my vehicle and its contents. Highly recommended

Not kid friendly.

We stopped passing through on a trip with grandsons. Booked online. The hotel is attached to, not "near", the casino. There are NO kid friendly restaurants within 10 miles. (The casino restaurants are in the casino, no separate entrance, except the expensive steakhouse. We were told we could go in and get food for the kids, which precipitated leaving them. There were no menus in the room and during our stay had spotty WiFi trying to access online, so we couldn't show them what was available). In addition, the 10 miles you drive for food takes a minimum of 21 minutes rack way due to country roads with 30-50 mph speed limits. That's 42 minutes to eat, with kids). The hotel and casino are literally in the middle of nowhere with nothing else around.

The hotel itself is a typical Hampton Inn. Nothing spectacular but fine. The breakfast is typical and fine, the people seem generally friendly. It's probably great for people who are aware of the casino and going specifically to gamble BUT the website should be very clear about the relationship to the casino (there's an entrance to the casino from the first floor of the hotel, it is a casino hotel, period), the distance to eating establishments and that there are no kid friendly food resources (a pool and free breakfast does not make a hotel kid friendly, it's typical and expected.)

In addition, the people above us were in and out all night, stomping on the floor and waking us and keeping us up, so we got little sleep. We wouldn't stop there again. Once we backtracked to the town area we found other hotels much closer to food establishments, if that's what you want try the Hampton Inn, Derby, Kansas. That's where we had to go eat.

So, in a nutshell, if you're wanting to gamble and stay up all night, It's probably perfect. If you're on a road trip and need to sleep or have children, don't stay here.

Great hotel, directly connected to the casino.
The room was huge and had one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on. Room also very quiet. Staff very helpful and friendly. Despite being in a casino with all of the restaurant options, they did not skimp on the complementary breakfast or coffee. Will definitely stay here again.

Hard to ignore the price point for this hotel but the stench of cigarette smoke is just pervasive on the first level from the casino. Convenient to have food and drink so easily accessible at a Hampton. Comfortable rooms, god value. Just hard to separate the casino from the hotel, unfortunately.

We had never been to Hampton Inn and Suites in Mulvane but we found it very pleasurable. Easy check in. Friendly staff and delicious food. Our room was clean. The bed was so soft. They also have courteous staff. Had a good time while there.
