Another wonderful stay at Hampton Inn Historic waterfront, Fernandina Beach! Beautiful hotel in the Heart of Amelia islands wonderful restaurants and shopping.
We keep coming back for special occasions.
Great location to walk to all the action on Center Street. Rooms are clean and well kept. Breakfast area on 2nd floor was clean and well managed. Check in could have been friendlier, trust me as an HHonors Member, I know the difference. Biggest drawback, T-R-A-I-N-S. Hotel nearly sits on top of the tracks and multiple trains came through around midnight. Still worth it though, just be aware.
You are in the heart of the riverfront of Fernandina. The hotel seems a little older with older hotel issues, could just be the issues of saltwater meeting tiny cracks. Beds are comfortable and the staff are incredibly responsive to any issues. Breakfast is great with the standard bacon and eggs with fruits , cereals and waffle makers. Always has hot coffee available and has a little shopette next to the front desk. Stayed in a suite and it has a residential fridge, dishwasher, sink and large microwave. Single serve coffee maker and popcorn is also included.
Quaintalmost historic feeling. Clean and quiet. Included breakfast better than expected with exceptional coffee. Local shops right out front door. Could use new beds. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Nice rooms, great location for downtown area. Not a great location for the beach, and the staff messed up billing on my account and tried to charge me for food I never purchased. Otherwise, a nice place.
Not the average Hamptons. Close to historic area. Converted old hotel with usual quirks and charm. Very pleased with our stay.
Very nice staff. Good Breakfast but could have more hot options (bacon, sausage, biscuits, etc). Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. Parking is kind of chaotic and confusing. Decorations and appearance is kind of put dated. However, I prefer this hotel and would come back as well recommend.
Great hotel, location and overall experience in Amelia Island! We rented a suit and got a roll away bed for our two kids and tjey had the roll away up here within minutes of me requesting it. Super quiet room (we were on 3rd floor) and breakfasts are really good in a lovely area. Hotel is easy walking distance from beach, all shops and restaurants of Amelia old town. Highly recommend.
My family and I took a trip to Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island this week. I chose to stay at the Hampton Inn located beside the harbor. This location is awesome! There are lots of little shops and restaurants to visit as you walk along the street located beside the hotel. The atmosphere is very family-friendly! My husband and I visit this Hampton in several times a year. We love the comfortable, spacious, elegant rooms! The one we stayed in this week was a one bedroom suite. It was so nice to have a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator as well as a small living area and a separate bedroom. The staff at this location are very welcoming extremely helpful. The breakfast is out of this world! And from the rooms overlooking the harbor and the pool area you can see some of the most spectacular Amelia Island sunsets! It's worth the trip just to see the sunsets!
Great location! Walking distance to so many great restaurants and bars. Proximity to train tracks might bother some. Room is clean and well kept. I did not find the king bed comfortable, however.
This is a cute hotel in a great location. You can park your car and walk just about anywhere you want to go. Great shops and dining are within feet of the hotel.
Good place to spend a night while traveling but a little run down. Lots of ceiling cracks and whatnot. If you need a hotel this will do the trick though.
Clean comfortable spacious room. Large modern lobby with great Starbucks/cafe/bar and plenty of comfortable seating. Friendly helpful staff and convenient shuttle around town. Excellent experience. Stay here. You'll be very happy.
