Sam was the best. She was very friendly and helpful. Food was ok. Comfy beds pool was nice. Clean place
I really enjoy staying at this particular Hampton when I'm in for work. I've stayed here several times. The rooms are clean and very comfortable as it is still a Hilton owned hotel. Great beds and very clean. Free breakfast, too.
Cozy rooms, recently renovated. Breakfast nook is unfortunately not large enough to seat everyone during peak hours on holidays, so be sure to get down there early, or be prepared to take breakfast back to your room. Otherwise, hotel service is sufficient.
Not capable staff at the front to assist when it comes to business needs for business folks. It's always a excuse for something, fax didn't go through, scanner is down, didn't even know what they had in the business area to assist!! Better training and customer service is needed there. Other then that the cleaning and dining staff were great and helpful, the room layouts need some work as far as being more efficient. Area is great though for little errands while traveling.
The hotel is clean and comfortable but that is to be expected out of a Hampton. The real reason this review deserves five stars is a woman named Brenda. She is one of the kitchen/maintenance workers and she is a saint. One of the nicest people I have ever met. It's people like her that make a good stay a great stay.
I loved the room we had hear! Best Hampton Inn ever! Great location!
Staff was friendly. Room was clean. There was no closet in the room but a place to hang clothes behind the curtain window, which was rather odd. Didn't get much sleep since our room was next to the very loud ice machine and directly across from the dining area. Not really sure why you'd have a room so close to the main congregating area.
Nice room. Sliding bathroom door is different. Breakfast was great. Staff accommodating. Malls and restaurants all around
Hotel was under renovation, was ok until you had to walk through construction area to get to pool and fitness center. Not fun with young children. Also, I booked 7 rooms back in January. One of my parties was unable to check in due to the hotel overbooking. They unfortunately decided to drive back home after planning on staying in the area after attending a festival all afternoon and evening. This was an unexpected and very unwelcome change to the plans for the weekend. I hope that next time, they actually honor a reservation that was made 6 months in advance.
The rooms are unique. The closet is just a curtain covering the wall with a shelf and rod and the bathroom door is on a sliding rail. There's a pull out couch that my 2 year old slept on straight through the night. The first floor Hs some renovations going on right now but the pool is still open. Max depth is 5 feet in the pool. Continental breakfast is basic but tastes delicious. Most of my family stayed in the hotel but my sister and brother in law had issues with getting a room because the hotel overbooked. They had to drive back home at midnight to Philadelphia with their 4 year old. I find this to be a poor practice and hotels should be fined for doing it.
The clerk at the desk was awesome. The elevators were a little shabby and dirty. They were booked solid though, so I assume it was just a lot of traffic. Our room was a little dated but very clean. The maid that serviced our room was very sweet and courteous. A good stay and no issues.
The hotel staff are some of the best in the business! Very friendly and so helpful. The hotel is clean, has a great lobby and breakfast area and is very quiet. Highly recommend this hotel
Family of 4, including 2 kids under 6. We had a recently renovated room ( double beds ) and it was nice. Modernized with clean smell. My husband said it would have been better if it had a phone key at the door and the popcorn ceiling was removed. The hotel had a good free breakfast (tasty coffee) that was kid friendly. We used the pool which needs updating itself (tiles around pool were lifting). Friendly staff. We'd stay again and recommend to friends.
