So cool for train lovers. My 3 year old was ecstatic. The staff was nice. The accommodations were great and there was lots to do on the property and nearby.

The beds were horrible and the A/C units barely cooled the room down no water pressure and barely any hot water. They recently renovated the rooms and took away all of the charm of staying in a actual caboose and made the rooms look more like a modern hotel. I had stayed there a while ago when they had charm and still looked like a caboose inside. While i understand things need to be updated to keep it fresh however this renovation just took everything that made this Motel unique and threw it away.

We had a very nice early dinner at the dining car. The burgers and sandwiches were vey tasty and our server wad friendly and attentive. We also had a nice conversation with another server while she was preparing utensils for the dinner rush. It was a quaint, little place with lots of character. We would definitely go back.

If you stay here make reservations for the farm house. Avoid the box cars which may be more suited for a younger generation. Our stay was pleasantly comfortable the suite was clean and cozy. More importantly it was quiet and peaceful which was what we were seeking. Location is outstanding for attractions and I would most definitely stay again.

Very cute property. Like the idea of sleeping in a train car. We got to see one of the rooms. Wouldn't work for us with a pack and play but maybe when my son is older. Restaurant food was very good. Its very cozy. The only problem is if your waiting to be seated and people are leaving there isn't room. Bathroom isn't i the restaurant. Loved the petting zoo as well. Will visit again.

5 stars across the board!!! The wife and I loved it. Great location, so much to do in the scenic area. So much to do there as well, pet zoo, movie night, bonfire, viewing tower kids play area, picnic area silo viewing tower and more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved the idea of sleeping in an actual caboose. The toy train museum is next store and the Strasburg train is right down the road. If you love trains you'll love your stay here.

This was one of the coolest overnight stays I've ever experienced. You sleep in a retrofitted train caboose. The kids were very excited. The space is small but cozy. Would recommend for families for sure.

Brought my son for his seventh birthday. He is a real train nut. Staying in actual train cars is a real blast! A memory we will never forget.
The reason not five stars is because of the restaurant. Quality of service was about par with limited flexibility on food choices.
Overall I would stay here again but eat somewhere else.

We had a great time in the Caboose with family. Plenty space and comfy. Need some improve in cleansing. Playground area and a small farm are great. They offer a night movie for children, very helpful! And several "must" places to visit are close.
