Incredible stay at Blue Skies Lodge! The house is very private, clean and well kept. The surrounding private land is great for hiking and stargazing. I could not have had a better vacation and Chris was the nicest guy, he even stopped by with a bottle of the local wine for me. I cannot wait to get back.

Very private cabin for star gazing. Amazing view of the milky way .we had a great time relaxing, hiking and exploring and just having down time. It's roomy with 3 bedrooms and a super deck. Thanks for a wonderful time we're so glad we could visit you and cherry springs state park too.

I was heading to Cherry Springs for some astrophotography, instead I discovered a very own private field for star gazing. An awesome place, an awesome experience.

Despite a cloudy, rainy weekend that put the kibosh on our stargazing hopes, Blue Skies Lodge was a real winner for us. Chris called on Saturday to make sure all was well, and Bob, the "concierge," was a font of information about things to do in the area. The cabin was quiet with all the comforts of home -- and more! Being off the grid for a few days was its own reward, and we had a great time reconnecting with extended family. The place is perfect for a couple and sleeps 6 at capacity. The bunk beds are definitely built for little ones, though. Not so easy to get into for adults! The only thing that would have made our visit more perfect was better weather. We'll be back whenever we can make it happen, I'm sure!

We went up to Coudersport for a girls weekend getaway. We were going to Cherry Springs State Park for some star gazing. The lodge is beautiful. There was a lot of space for the 5 of us. The living room and bar area was great to hang out in at night and led out to a wrap around deck. The place was nicely furnished and very clean. The adjoining field is huge and the view is fantastic, especially at night. We went to the PA Grand Canyon while we were there and it was beautiful. I would give this 5 stars if 2 things were improved: 1. there needs to be a railing for the stairs in the house, especially for older individuals 2. the drive up to the house is a bit daunting, especially in a minivan. There were a lot of ruts in the road and we bottomed out a lot. More dirt or gravel is needed to even that drive out.
