Breakfast offering was extremely sub par. So much so I didn't bother to eat there any of the 4 days I stayed. Low water pressure in not only my room, but the rooms of many of my colleagues. One walked into his room for the first time to a bathroom with water leaked all over the floor. They transferred him to another room which smelled like mildew, in my opinion. Staff was eeeeehhhh. You hear every door closing on your floor. I can keep going
Nice and comfy beds. Nice hot breakfast. Friendly reception staff
Just came from Europe so I'm happy to be back in the US. that being said our airport pick up driver was super friendly and gracious with suggestions on a number of topics. Front desk guy was also at the top of his game for friendliness and welcoming. The rooms are clean and bed is the most comfortable I've had in weeks. There's lots of affordable food options in walking distance and a movie theater next door.
Comfy beds, Decent shower, poor selection of snacks and food, Staff is nice. This is an average Hampton next to a movie theatre and shopping center including target.
Lets just say we were very displeased with our stay. The room was disqustingly hot! 81 degrees! We called 3 times and no one could could cool the room down. The tub fills up with water when you shower! It was just awful! Not the way i imagined my anniversary night would be! The front desk clerk, said there was no manager on duty, she also had a horrible attitude! I will be contacting corporate!
Good location, clean rooms, fair prices, and friendly staff!
"deluxe room with jacuzzi" room was interesting but not bad. Room has a regular bathroom with tub / shower combo, and then in the main room also has a large jacuzzi tub. Separated from bed area with half height wall. Great for single travelers or couples - you can soak in the huge tub while watching TV. Never seen anything like it but not bad. Otherwise it was a normal / unexceptional hotel stay.
Great customer service. Really great place. I will visit again
I have been coming here for 12plus years. The AMC theaters hadn't been built yet. The location was already great because of how close it is to Brooklyn, but you throw in the stores, the food options and finally the movies and it's perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The staff for the most part is accommodating and friendly; we have met and dealt with so many employees throughout the years that its hard not to compare them. The one constant has been Cathy Montella who has been pleasant for years. Recently, Dierma, Jennifer, and newcomers Kat, Chris and Susie are welcomed faces when we check in or need something.
The location of the hotel is outstanding, there are several restaurants, a grocery store, a target, and an AMC all within walking distance. The hotel itself was clean, relatively spacious, and the staff was friendly. The hotel shuttle service is willing to drive you around to nearby locations, but plan way ahead as it's often busy.
Room was nice. Location is excellent for long business trips due to convenient food and shopping. One elevator did not seem to work. Breakfast has hot food but is only okay. Nothing bad just nothing amazing.
My daughter was staying in this hotel with her college track team so I stayed to be close to them. The hotel was clean and kept up. Breakfast was always kept stocked. Close to the expressway, limited restaurants and stores. The service was spectacular and one of the Managers, Jennifer, was very helpful in helping us find our way around to the outlet mall, taking public transportation into New York and trying different restaurants. I would definitely stay again.
