The rooms were clean. The selection for Breakfast was one of the best for a hotel. Not to impressed with the staff as yes they were helpful but disappointed to be charged more than what I was told when I booked the room.

Hampton is one of our go-to hotel choices, and this one is quite good.
Front desk staff was particularly helpful and thoughtful. I won't give details because they weren't helping us, they were helping another young man, but I thought they handled it very well.
Room was clean, warm (winter), sufficiently quiet, and comfortable. This is one of the older Hampton buildings with smaller rooms, but the room had everything a Hampton should have. Bathroom had a sliding-glass door tub-sized step in shower - that is to say, no tub. This was mentioned during on-line reservation and was fine with us. Bathroom was clean but showed some wear.
Breakfast area and service were unremarkable. WiFi was fine.
There are plenty of restaurants within a short drive of the hotel.response / report this review -

Was very easy to find. Right in the middle of all kinds of stores and restaurants. Would have liked a few more options for breakfast that were hot. The staff was very nice.

Clean rooms with comfortable beds. No picturesque views, (parking lot and rooftop on all sides) but overall a nice place to stay. Pool and Spa had clear water and the establishment seems relatively well kept. The doughnut offering at breakfast was not fresh but the whip cream and candy toppings provided for the self serve waffle bar made up for that. Plenty of choices on the breakfast bar.

Same Hampton inn, nice and well kept. Slow at cleaning the rooms, checked in at 5:00 and still did not have room ready. Next day out of the room from 8:30 till 3:30 still did not find the time to clean it. They need to update the pillows ours were flat and the first time I've been to a Hampton inn and not had 5-6 on the bed

We splurged on the whirlpool room and I was surprised at how large the room was. The whirlpool was large and nice as well. It seems like there were some renovations because the room seemed new and very nice. It had a fridge and microwave. The WiFi was fast and the shower was very good. Overall in would highly recommend it. They said they had a great free breakfast but we didn't trybit since we brought banana bread with us.

Clean rooms. Employees were professional but had a good sense of humor. Reasonably priced rooms and plenty of parking. Best breakfast selection I've seen at a hotel. Plenty of room for everyone even though the hotel was completely booked.

Hotel was going under renovation while I was there and I don't think I've ever seen a hotel in that state while staying there. Once inside the room things were fine the room was just like most Hamptons clean and efficient. Since I am a Hilton member there aren't really any other options in Dubuque besides this one. So that said I will likely be back. Staff was nice especially Dave at check-in was funny and engaging.
