If I could give this place zero stars, believe me I would. I came into this place with high hopes. It started off really well but turned into a horrible mess. At the time I had colored my hair black for years myself and I wanted to go silver. I realized that I had to do the process in increments. I was given a hair stylist. She told me she could do it for around $120 including tip to strip it and then next time I'd come in I'd pay $85 including tip for the silver toner: This was just hair coloring and my hair is medium length, barely down to my shoulders. I was excited and sat for 4 hours the first time. She bleached my hair for 4 hours. When she was done she told me that she needed to cover the color for whatever reasons and decided to dye my hair a bright orange red. I did not want this and voiced it several times that I didn't want to have to bleach it again. She told me she knew what she was doing and that it won't be so bad the next time. I was charged $225 plus a $20 tip. She said it was due to how much dye she used. I never once asked for red hair, and just wanted it to be blonde so next time we could get it to silver. She told me this was the system and I paid the full amount. The next time I went in she stripped it once more and attempted to put in some white color. It turned out horrible. Another four hours wasted. I paid $180 and another $10 tip. I still have this color as I'm typing this because today when I called the place they said the woman no longer worked there. After all this time. I'm so upset and hurt. I was swindled out of my money. Nearly $430 wasted for a bad dye job. Their hair cuts are okay. But never go here to get your hair colored. They don't know what they're doing in this department and they over price. If you're going to charge that much money you should at least do a decent professional job.

I went in for a first time appointment on 7/7. My stylist told me she had gone to beauty school twice, both in the US and abroad. She said she has "been doing hair for a long time." We had a discussion about my hair and what I wanted. We talked in depth about everything and I even referenced her hairstyle, stating I would like something similar, but longer. I advised I still need to be able to wear my hair in a pony tail for work. She ended up cutting much of my hair (dry) before even starting the highlights. I specifically said at that time "I don't want it any shorter than this." Unfortunately the result is something that doesn't resemble ANYTHING we talked about. In fact, she cut it much shorter than hers. In addition, she did not angle it the way we discussed. As for putting it in a pony tail, it's only possible if I pull my hair to the top of my head, in which case most of it falls out the back. She either oversold herself or she just doesn't listen.

My total was $205. That seemed very high, so I looked at the salon website. I found that what I asked for and agreed to should have been $130. I called the salon and asked to speak to a manager. The owner ended up taking the call. I explained all of the above. She apologized for my experience and her exact words were "I will get you taken care of." She asked to call me back later. When she did, she stated she was so sorry that my "25% new client discount" wasn't applied. (I disclosed multiple times it was my first visit in person, on phone and on paper.) The owner told me she would give me $50 dollars back for that reason. I told her my issue was that the haircut was bad and I was not charged appropriately. She said that charges are "at the discretion of the stylist. It's based on time, product used, etc." I stated that this information is not advertised as such, nor was ANY OF IT discussed or agreed to between the stylist and myself. (I have fine, thin hair and only got a root touch up, so usage and time NOT a factor!) The owner eventually said she would refund $75 back to me (the difference between $130 and $205.) This DID NOT include the 25% first time client discount. I also stated that I wanted the tip adjusted because I tipped based on the amount of $205, not $130. She did NOT adjust that amount. The owner said she "hoped I would come back and give them another chance."

After much thought about how I was treated and considering how awful my hair turned out, I called to talk to a manager on 7/10. One was not available so I spoke to another stylist. I told her everything and advised I wanted my gratuity refunded back at the very least, because I believe the stylist gave me a bad haircut, didn't listen to what I wanted and clearly did not inform me of critical details. The stylist was very empathetic and even invited me back to the salon to see her. She assured me that a manager would call me back the next day. She even told me I could stop by the salon and they would give me back the gratuity amount at any time. I asked if she could refund it back to my card and said she couldn't, as she didn't know how to use the credit card machine. No one contacted me the next day. Or any day after that. Finally, I called back on 7/14 and was told that the stylist that I spoke to would call me back later. Again, no one returned my call. I called back on 7/15 and asked to speak to either that stylist or a manager. I was told neither was available, but the manager would call me back in about 30 minutes. I advised the receptionist that if someone did not return my call today, I would come in and need to speak to someone in person. About 10 minutes later, the owner called me back and said she would give me my all of money back as long as I "never called again or ever came back to her salon." She said if I "ever showed up, she would have a police officer waiting." Not only does that threat not make sense, but I'm not sure what prompted this response since everything could have been resolved a week ago with a phone call. I feel bullied and threatened by this experience. BEWARE!

I always feel and look ten years younger when I've had my hair done by Carol, the owner. She has been my stylist since she opened her salon in Westfield and I won't ever get my hair done anywhere else. Perfect cut, color and style, AND free hand massages! Can't be beat

I just moved to the area and was looking for somewhere to get my hair done. I wanted to do big changes and was nervous. I made an appointment with Gretchen and she was very professional and very helpful in deciding what to do. I ended up getting a two color highlight and cutting almost 8 inches off! I have never loved my hair so much! This was a great experience and I felt very comfortable and her advice was exactly what I needed! I will be going here for all of my hair appointments!

I've never had a beard trim or haircut with the kind of attention to detail that Dana has. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Fantastic hair cut. Good fun. I had Jessica as my stylist and she was very patient and kind. Helped me figure out what haircut would look best on me.

I have been going to this salon for sometime now and I absolutely love it!!! The manager Jessica Q always does my hair and I absolutely love her! Her spirit is so warm and she is so down to earth. I would not know why some one would give her and the salon a bad review. Jessica really knows her stuff and always make you look great! I would differently recommend her and this salon to all my friends and family members. Thank you Jessica Q for making my day and me looking so good.
