Hare Chevy service does a great job of taking care of our two Malibu's! When they identify problems, they always provide info on whether items need to be addressed immediately or if we can hold for a future service appointment. Look for their timely service coupons too. They do fabulous work!
Chris Parker was great to work with. It was a smooth and simple process. He helped us understand everything that needed to be done with the whole process. He stayed later than he needed, let us test drive multiple vehicles , ran reports, answered any questions that we had, and made us feel right at home.
Let me start out by saying we have 2 Chevrolet vehicles from Hare and have them both serviced exclusively at Hare. Since the new ownership group took over the service department has steadily gone downhill. It now takes two hours or more for a simple oil change & tire rotation. Yesterdays service had the service tech try to sell my wife on about $1500 of extra services. I have been there dozens of times over the years (Purchased my 1st Hare Chevy in 2000) and have never has a sales push like that. It's a shame to see what happened to a Great Dealership!!!
Purchased a 2015 Chevy Colorado a couple months ago and have had nothing but issues with the vehicle. The first issue came within weeks of purchase and I took my truck into the dealership to get fixed. There was an emissions issue and it was causing a gas smell to start coming from my truck. I did not put but 20-30 miles on this vehicle before this happened. The mechanics must of not of known that I installed a dash cam because I caught all voice and actions on camera. They called me 3 days later and informed me my vehicle was finished with repairs. I checked the dash cam and saw that my truck was only being worked on for less than 1 hour 3 days prior to them contacting me about it "being finished". The last video showed them washing it and pulling it behing the dealership. 1 month passes and I am in Texas working and helping out with the hurricane that recently hit Houston, my truck starts having the same issue. I take my truck to a local dealership which fixes the issues within an hour (still dealing with flooded vehicles but the decided it was an easy fix and they could get me out fast, which was very helpful). The dealership in Dickinson, Texas informed me that the repairs made by Hare Chevrolet were performed incorrectly. Luckily the dealership in Texas got my truck taken care of and I could get back to helping individuals impacted by the damages of the storm.
Luckily this only cost about $200 out of my own pocket due to the extended warranty. This extended warranty was basically "shoved in my face" during the sell and I could not walk away without it. With the voice audio that I have about the prior repair from Hare it shows they are scamming the extended warranty company. Watch buying vehicles from this location because they lie and who they have working in the repair show are disrespectful and dishonest. Also, always purchase a dash cam that can be hidden so you can see the horrible actions that go on when you leave your vehicle with them.
They rely on the extended warranty by messing with your vehicles. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION!
Went to this place
Bought a car here in the past. Salesman doesn't work there anymore. I see why everything at that place sucks!!! People service and price. I will never go back and would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone. All you are is a number. Go to Blossom Chevy. Great people who really appreciate you business.
Bought a new truck over the weekend and there was a wheel shake and wobble I wanted taken care of. Truck was reviewed and 1st driver experienced it, After that 4 other people and a 1/4 tank of gas, no one else felt it. All checked out and I have my truck back, well checked out, but no change. Rental car process was smooth and staff helping was super nice.
Car wasn't running right, steam coming out of tailpipe. Dying at stoplights, had 81000 miles on vehicle. They diagnosed the problem, gave me a rental car until fixed. Fought with G.M for a new motor. Car is running great now. They honor their warranty. Great place to buy a vehicle. 😎
Great service and everyone was very helpful. I appreciated how they answered my questions, but also moved the process along quickly. Jason and Blake were both great to work with.
Outstanding support. Tony was courteous and professional. Completed brake job and a couple of service items in a reasonable amount of time. Shuttle service was timely and convenient. Would highly recommended Hare service and repair. I have an Escalade and chose to use Hare and not the Cadillac dealership simply due to the way I am treated.
Demarkus Henderson is the most polite & respectful service advisor. He is the best I had in the 3 years of my service experience at Hare. Great Job!
1 small problem is that there seem to be more oil spill on engine this time. Usually, a less oil on engine. I actually had to clean off the oil on engine. Either then that a great job done by the service department.
Always Great Service! We purchased a 2017 Spark from Hare and have had nothing but great experiences. Corban was an awesome salesman, the ladies who showed us the vehicle were great. I came in because I had a nail in my tire and the man was super nice and helpful. I think his name was Tony? Also, I went in for an oil chance and to have the eco spray put on and they quoted me at least 4 hours. I had to stay and they got it done in 2.5 hours because they knew I was waiting AND they completely detailed my car from the inside out. I'm very satisfied with our experience and would come back for another car if needed!
I have been looking for a newer vehicle for my daily travel to work and because of a financial circumstance that I was unable to control. I kept hearing the ads on the radio about how you guys will get any one approved no matter good or bad credit. I have worked in a dealership for 12 years so I have plenty of experience. I thought what the heck I will look here in the Indy area for something and I kept hearing your ads so randomly on a Thursday I stopped by to see what you had on the lot and to see what you guys could do for me under the financial circumstances that I had going on. I was greeted very well at the front door by a great salesman. He then took me to the reception desk to get me put into the system. At this point I 'm thinking this is going to be great because they have processes and I love seeing that. Got all my info inputted into your system and then started walking back to Ryan's desk and on the way back there he asked me what brought me in and what was I looking for. I then told him my financially situation and what I was looking for exactly. I had pretty much done all my research on the vehicle and what I exactly wanted. It was just the mainly finding a place that could work with me and had what I wanted on the lot. Which you guys did. We sat down at Ryan desk and we filled out the credit app together. All good still. He submitted the credit app to the finance mgr/ or used car mgr. However, in the mean time the used car mgr did test drive my Lexus to see if I could possibly do a trade in with it or if I owed more than it was worth.
After telling Ryan what I wanted he found the Equinox that I had found online and pulled it up so I could test drive while waiting to go through the mgrs and so forth on the process. I spoke to a couple sales people while waiting and everyone seemed very friendly. Ryan brought me out to the Equinox and went over everything and then I took off for a test drive. It was storming pretty good and it was getting close to 8 so I didn't go far with it. This Equinox was everything I wanted to a "T". So, I came into the dealership and sat back down with Ryan and he looked at me and said the mgr stated that you guys could not doing anything at this time because things on my end weren't completed yet. So, I left there understanding because again I have worked in a dealership but not the sales side but did no some things had to be done before my situation could get approved . No big deal at all. I followed everything Ryan told me to do. Called Monday to update him and told him that things should be taken care of by the end of that week. He said great and to keep him updated. I called Ryan Friday and told him that everything was handled on my end that we could move forward on getting Equinox . He said I don't think we can cause you have to wait until my process was finished. I told him that I had already went to another dealer that a friend refereed me to so I had a back up plan just in case this did not work. I had told Ryan I had already been approved by 3/4 banks so I was good there. He then asked if he could call me back cause he was going to get with his mgr. He then called right back in 5 min or so and said no there was nothing you guys could do for me. I went right down the road to my back-up plan and told them to go ahead a sign me up for the same exact Equinox you guys had on your lot. After hearing all the radio ads you have out there stating that you can approve with just $4 down and approve anybody is a complete lie. I even talked to the bank that I went through and they said all the dealer should have done was called the bank to make sure I had an approval and the deal could have been done. This right here is an example why people have bad taste about dealerships is cause they make it sound great until you in there and then it all goes down hill after the credit app is done. I think you defiantly need to try a little harder working with the customers and put ads out there that you can truly promise.
Another deal lost!!!
Went to Hare a few times back in 2013 and 2014 After horrible experience not once or twice but 4 times we swore to never go back. Husband went a few weeks ago to check out a car on the used lot. He had a wonderful experience and had Kelsey Leach as a salesperson. She was awesome. He wanted me to go check out the new equinox. I went a week later and also had a wonderful experience. The dealership was extremely busy but Kelsey never made you feel rushed or like she was too busy. She took her time with each client. I didn't purchase that day. Came back a week later and purchased my equinox. Again had the same amazing experience. Everyone was very friendly, very helpful, customer service was top notch would highly recommend you give them another chance it you swore them off a few years ago like we did. We have purchased 2 cars from them in less than a month.
First purchase in 2014: Awesome experience! I'll admit, I had been to many car dealerships in the past year, trying to get out from under the Grand Am that I had from JD Byrider. I always had bad experiences, and people that just wanted to make a sale. Not here. I was fortunate enough to be helped by Susan, who was a very straight-shooter. She did not try to persuade me or my wife into anything and had exceptional integrity. She managed to get me a brand new Chevy Malibu for a great deal! Now I'm much safer on my commute and I really love my car. Hare Chevy and especially Susan- thank you for everything!

2017 Purchase: Returned to Hare Chevrolet and was lucky enough to work with Susie again! Because of Susie’s kindness, perseverance and ability to work magic (really), my family and I are always in a vehicle we can rely on. I am ecstatic about my purchase and will always be returning to Hare Chevrolet for any car needs.
Have purchased many vehicles here. Wayne Gained sold us the last one and he is a fantastic salesperson! He knows customer service and the vehicles he is selling. He goes out of his way to make the customer comfortable with the deal and the financing. Great service department. They have done all service on our vehicles. Price may be slightly higher but have never had to have them redo any of the service. Knowing they have the parts and knowledge for the vehicle is worth the price.
