This is a nice area to enjoy nature. There are some hiking paths, but the area seems to be mostly undeveloped. I could not get close to the Sandhill Cranes but some flew overhead. There are many smaller birds in the area around Eagle Lake.

This is a quiet place to relax and walk around, enjoy the birds and nature.

I hike here all the time, it is fairly close to home, and it is great. It is a great place to spend an afternoon walking looking at the birds, wild flowers, and trees. It is nice to go to the lake lookout, and just take in all outdoor charm that this part of Michigan has to offer.
