I would like to thank Maggie the ER nurse that took amazing care of my 78 year old mother today. As soon as she realized the severity of her condition she did all she could to ensure she received the proper remedy. I also want to thank John Harvey who put a big smile on our faces while we waited to be seen. This lovely man is a transporter and he got my mother blankets and a pillow because she was so uncomfortable while waiting. He even sang to us to brighten up my mothers spirits. And finally Alyssa, a young nurse studying for her BSN,who was my mother's sitter. She stayed with her the entire time so she would not hurt herself. She is a gem! So happy I brought my mom here today. Thank you!!!!!!

Efficient and Cordial staff with patient care being the top priority. Excellent food with diet monitored per physician's guidance. Neat and clean facility.
All the bumps across the building in hospital buildings must be removed to comfort the patient travelling in the stretcher or wheel chair. It is too bumpy.

I have been In-patient three times at Hackensack University Medical Center in the two years I have been in New Jersey and I could not be happier with my experiences there. As a bone marrow transplant patient, I have a suppressed immune system and all three times I came in through the emergency room, I was identified immediately as a cancer/transplant patient and placed in an appropriate area. My experiences up on the Transplant floor were wonderful. The doctors and nurses are attentive and so pleasant! They communicate with my other doctors and I always feel well cared for. The food isn’t bad, either!;-)

Loved this hospital! Everyone was so friendly, I’m currently 34 weeks pregnant and I went for the maternity tour. It was long but our nurse guide was super friendly, funny & very knowledgeable! She answered every question you may have had which wasn’t much because she covered everything. I loved it and I can’t wait to give birth here in only a few more weeks!

Great nurses, nice staff but was unhappy with family accommodations. Went to eat in the coach's lounge (as told) and was kicked out because she gave birth already. I wasn't a coach. The room was empty, no where else for exhausted family to eat and collect. That was unfortunate. But Tara was great on the maternity floor!

Usually , only go there for an emergency because I am very healthy. Since the moment you arrive, the service provided is complete and competent. I only had neck and back pain, but they started with an EKG. I asked If I could refuse it, cause I didn't needed. " You are not a doctor mam, relax and let us take care of you" . Well, , I did. The time spent was appropriate to the time I arrived. All the personnel prepared and courteous. This has been my hospital for 12 years, and it will be!

My overall experience at Hackensack Hospital was excellent. Loved my doctor, nurses, technicians and staff. They were courteous, efficient and never had to wait unusual amount of time for testing. Doctors spent time with you and explained procedures thoroughly. Everyone emphasized how important cleanliness was and avoiding infection. This was very important to me since my last surgery resulted in sepsis. I would definitely recommend this hospital. It was an hour from my home but well worth it.

I have received great services. From the moment I entered the hospital with my 20 days old infant, every single person in the hospital provided highly professional and greatly positive services. My son, my husband and I received very efficient treatment and discharged with great pleasure. I thank to very single professional at Hackensack University. I also gave birth at the same hospital. Before delivery I heard great things about the hospital but the services that I received was unforgettable and amazing. I felt myself having a vacation at 5 star hotel rather than hospital. The doctors, nurses and every single person in the hospital were highly professional and also had great attitudes which felt me more comfortable than my own home. You basically need no attendant or nothing to delivery at Hackensack hospital rather than yourself and they will take care of the rest :)

It was once a great place. Now they focus on the bottom line and profits only. The staff is often overworked and overwhelmed. There have been several deaths of Staff members. The management of the ER needs to be changed. Perhaps a fresh start is what's an order.

One of their rent-a-cops was very rude to me. I have no idea why. The emergency room is awful. They treat you like a piece of meat. And they like their meat to sit around and age for hours. They treat patients like drug addicts and/or criminals. The nurses there know absolutely nothing about HIPAA. One of the emergency room nurses became very snippy because I advocated for myself. There was no need for his dramatics.

This was my third visit to the clinic. I was fortunate to find the same
Dr. Butane who had seen me on the previous visits.
The service if effective and thorough and I have been satisfied each
time I have needed help with my teeth.
I recommend this clinic without reservation.
