What an awesome delicious anniversary dinner! What had the antipasto, beet salad then moved on to chicken pam, two types of gnocchi, and the spaghetti with the cream sauce. All delicious!!!! I can't wait to come back here.We also had the best waitresses. Kat and Nikki were awesome!!!!

Wait staff extremely friendly. Veal chop excellent! Wine list is big. Romantic atmosphere. Ask for Kat. She has a great personality.

Came here with a private party and had the whole upstairs to ourselves. Everything on the menu was excellently prepared and paired well with red and white wines. Highly recommend for your special night out on the island!

Michael Anthony's is really a wonderful place to dine. The food, service and atmosphere experience is what should be expected in higher end dining. My 4 star rating is due to we made reservations well in advance for the upstairs. The day of our reservations they called me and attempted to bump us downstairs. I thought that was a little unfortunate since it was on a Thursday night. I politely declined and cancelled our reservation. Sadly we haven't been back since, which has been well over a year. I see no sense in making a reservation if it is not to be honored. No hard feelings..there are several nice restaurants on Hilton Head that have never bumped our reservation requests.

Chef Trey and PJ were wonderful. We were at the chef's table and it was an experience that I'll never forget. The flavors of the food were amazing and the wines were wonderfully matched. I would recommend to anyone without reservation.

It was good and I don't have anything bad to say. But it was not great. Food was Italian but not exceptional just good solid food. Service was quite good but not exceptional.So overall an OK place to go if you can't get into something better which was our dilemma

Not sure what the bad reviews ordered before but we had nothing but a great time and experience. The dining room was awesome and the food was delicious. Our server Lucy was the best one we've had in a while. Very witty, knowledgeable and sweet. I didn't see the issue with the prices as our veal and crab pasta was to die for. Also, we actually took home 2 to go boxes completely stuffed! We will for sure come back every year we are on vacation there.

Outrageous prices for tiny portions. Very snobbish atmosphere as tho they think they have something special here, which they don't. Very novella cuisine, not traditional Italian, so if you're looking for classic Italian, don't come here.

Cooking is honestly nothing to write home about, my wife's homemade gnocchi & pasta gravies are better than what this overpriced restaurant offers. Plus, I get to eat my fill at home & I didn't here.

Needless to say, we will not be returning. My wife & I enjoy eating out at very nice restaurants, but see no reason to pay expensive prices for atmosphere alone.
