Its the cheapest college in the area and you get what you paid for.

The staff in the financial aid, business and student advisory are some of the most incompetent people you will ever meet. Time and time again they ask for documents because they lose them every semester. Several times I had to straighten out financial issues after the geniuses had assured me it wouldn't be an issue, then the idiots deny it.

The housing director for the dorms is exceedingly callous and cold, if you have a personal issue with your housing or you want to leave early because a job - she wont care. Prepare to have an apathetic housing staff give you the run around, not mean what they say and then deny it if you bring it up, same with all the staff.

If I wasnt borderline homeless I would have never come here.

Ask any student the competency level of this barely functioning organization and you'll get the same answers.

The teachers are decent, every thing else is a big heap of stinking garbage that can care less about you, and their actions reciprocate that.

This rating is for only 1 instance and Issue: Help Desk- It seems they don't like answering the phone, and don't return phone calls. LMC should really make the School Domain accessible in WaveLink or Canvas, somewhere only students and staff can find it, but asset least accessible. This would solve many students grief and ease the need off assistance for many MS Office users. What a P.I.T.A.

Does this college have a religious affiliation? Every website is blocked, they definitely choose to cut corners when building Beckwith Hall, and the Resident Assistants are terrible. In fact, one of the RA's told my daughter to "jiggle the door knob until it unlocks" because they were too lazy to get up and unlock the room.

Truly one of the up and coming colleges. The campus is getting bigger all the time. They offer a few 4 year degrees and have dorms.

Lake Michigan College is a great college to start at if you want to save money. The staff are wonderful people and want to help you continue you education.
