AMAZING FAMILY EXPERIENCE! Thank you for the effort you've put in to make this place outstanding. My family had a great visit and we loved every bit of what we saw. We also learned quite a bit whilst walking and reading the placards for the animals. The new babies were adorable as well. We will be back!

This is an excellent zoo! My son had a blast. They have a safari train that takes you through part of the park. You can also feed a lot of the animals here. It was just the right size for a 1/2 day trip.

Lovely Zoo! I think this is a best kept secret of Gulf Breeze! This is a wonderful zoo that is small enough to enjoy in a day but big enough to house animals in natural habitats. The paths are shaded with vegetation and the animals are well kept. You can purchase food to feed many of the animals including giraffes! Take the train ride! It is a little extra but worth it. Unfortunately, we didn't expect much and only gave ourselves 2 hours (all adults). We were able to make our way though at a fairly quick pace, but would have loved to have at least another hour or two. We went on a cooler day which means the animals were more active. Take advantage of a bad beach day and spend it at the zoo!!

The Gulf Breeze Zoo is extravagant!!!The service is very professional and very detail instructions and also a map provided!! The price is a pack deal with the petting zoo and the train ride through the Safari. A person can purchase food for animals in the gift shop or vending machine through out the zoo. The animals were well taken care. The boundary fences were very secure as well as the train ride through the Safari. My friends, family, and I really enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this zoo to others.

Great place! Small but yet has good variety. Love the train ride into the safari. My daughter's favorite part is getting to feed the giraffes and getting to feed the birds. Lots of animals you can feed or get right up close and personal with. Always clean and typically not overly crowded. Slow to go through the payment desk when busy. But would definitely suggest buying a pass, well worth the money!

Very small zoo but their Halloween event for the children was set up nicely. The train ride looked very nice but also a little on the pricy side. General admission tickets are very fair.

One of the better zoos on the East Coast. Lots of animals that you can interact with and feed. They have a train that goes to some of the further exhibits. Extremely nice people with lots of animals that you wouldn't think would be at a zoo on the coast in such a small area.

Fun day for the little ones. The walk in bird cage is very fun, and feeding the goats as well. Zoo is pretty well kept!

You can see the kitchen where the prepare the food for each individual animal. Pretty cool!

We had a great time visiting the zoo today. It was a hot day, but the zoo had sprinklers going for many of the animals to play in to stay cool. We have been visiting this zoo for several years and I am extremely thrilled at the renovations and progress this zoo is making. The animals are well cared for, the staff is friendly and knowledgable. If we had any problem at all, it was the intercom on the train ride didn't work half the time. When mentioned to staff, they said it was to be worked on this fall/winter. Another note on the train ride, the train is supposed to run once per hour, but because of the people waiting, they ran a couple extra loads on the half hour. They even allowed the kids to climb on the engine for pictures. I love how the zoo is over 95% handicap accessible (including the train with a special wheelchair car). My kids enjoyed feeding the animals and reading the animal names and status on each enclosure. Thank you for a wonderful day!

It was a really nice zoo, we paid extra for the train ride but it wasn't like the best thing in the world. I would have been just as happy only getting to go so far but it was nice anyways. It is a really nice zoo overall :)

What a gem! Spent more time here than I thought I would because the grounds, animals and staff are all great. Everything from admission to food is very reasonable priced considering what it must take to keep this place in such outstanding condition. And don't miss out on the train ride. Surprisingly fantastic, open Safari-like experience. Great zoo for the whole family or for the hobby photographer like me. The animals appear to be very well cared for and seem more active than other zoos, even in the Florida heat and humidity. Not crowded either.

So much better than the Nashville Zoo which I'm accustomed to since I live there.

This zoo had a huge variety of animals from tigers to lions to gorillas. Feeding the animals (especially the giraffe was a lot of fun.

I would highly spend the extra money and ride the train, get a full tour of the more exotic and bigger animals.

This will set you back a bit as well $120 for four (2a2k) with train tickets included.

Overall one of the better zoos I've been too.

Great place to take your family! Got to see a variety of animals and most of them will walk right up to you expecting food. The monkeys put on a show for us with all their tricks swinging and the males showed off their calls. Sounded Didn't like how the Drinks in the coke machines cost $3. Finally I caved and put in the $3 then unfortunately, the machine didn't work. Enjoyed taking the Train ride through the 50 acre property. It went throughout the zoo, going in and out of gates where we got to see rhinos, zebras, gorilla, antelopes, camels,and more. Also the conductor was very informative. Unfortunately We saw most of the animals from afar, during the train ride, and only a few were seen up close. Spring time is a great time to go! My sons and the rest of the kindergarten class went here as a school field trip towards the end of April. Temperature was perfectwas in the low 80's range. Definitely recommend you to bring tennis shoes and a pair of binoculars would come in handy too.

Fun place to visit. There's an area where you can walk around and feed animals from a cup. Just make sure to be careful and hold the cup tightly, many of them will bite down on the rim and run away with all of it.
There is a show at 1 different animal per hour. You can see all of the shows in one day if you show up before 10 and stay til 3 or 4. I recommend getting an annual pass and spending several days there (with days in between) if you're local or if you're going to spend a couple of weeks around the area.
Also great activity to do with the kids during the weekend.
You can even feed budgies with a millet stick and turn (stretch) your pennies into several zoo related coins.
They're currently working on making a new area in between the giraffes and tigers.
Be aware not all of the animals are active all day long (otters, kangaroos, gator and some birds).
Several times a year there are mini events, but regular days are the best if you want to get a good look at the animals and have some goats to feed by yourself.
They are a bit tough to contact by phone at times, most likely due to small staff.

Pretty nice zoo with some decent exhibits. Good selection of animals, and the kids love the train and petting zoo pathway. Feeding the birds is also a great experience for everyone. Only drawback might be that it's a bit pricey for some.

This is a great zoo. It's not a large zoo, but it is well kept and most of the animals are easy to see. Our group was 2 adults. It took us about 4 hours to comfortably see everything. For an additional fee there is a train ride, bird food sticks, and pellet cups for feeding turtles, swan, goose, sheep, goat, llama, giraffe, and others.
