Live music, fun atmosphere, and great food and service. The Botana is sizzling plate of meats, cactus, onions and more. 4 or 5 people can easily be satisfied by a half order and costs only around $60. The horchata is delicious and looks very fancy in the glass. I highly recommend reservations, this place is usually packed. All of the staff were extremely friendly during our visit and we will for sure be returning.

Service was amazing. They had told me a 40-1 hour wait and it took us less than 15 minutes to get in. I'm so happy I decided to come. I'm from San Diego so it was more than 2 drive but definitely be coming again. The mole negro was delicious.

Hands down they have the best Mole in L.A ❤️
Service is friendly not the best. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was simply because the food is absolutely delicious.
Perks: They have a live band almost every night. 🎶

This place is a rip off, with rude servers, or at least the server who served me was rude, foolish and deceptive.
I was with my girlfriend and her mom, we went to that place, and by it's location, we thought that it should be affordable, as we were not planning on a formal lunch, just to grab something to keep us going, we were busy,
I did not look at what my girlfriend and her mother ordered, it was meat dishes, I'm vegetarian, so I asked for a salad, when the order came, it was a very large, thin crusted pizza, with few veggies on it, I thought that it was a mistake, I called the server and told him that I requested a " SALAD", he answered me, this is a salad, I said, this is a pizza, and it's too large for one person, he insisted that the pizza was a salad, I did not want to create any inconvenience or a public scene out of respect for my girlfriend and her mom, but I left totally feeling like a fool, and the bill was about $ 124, added to the mandatory valet parking.

James Beard Classics Award winner. Amazing mole and delicious Oaxacan dishes. One of the best in America. Cozy and bright inside. Beautiful murals on the outside. Located in Koreatown. Gift shop.

My family and I have been coming here for years. Eder the manager has always treated us like family. The food the drinks the music! It's always something I look forward to with excitement. Perfect for a family night. Or the bar section for a girls night. The live band on Friday nights has always been my favorite.

This is not a very fancy restraints. But the food is above average an prices are reasonable. They have live music an a relaxing feel. Service is good an most meals are large. They have plenty of parking available. We highly recommend you try it.

My family and I saw this restaurant on featured on the travel channel. The food looked amazing so we decided to try it out. It not only lived up to it's reputation but exceeded our expectations. Our server David was not only attentive but eager to make suggestions. Since it was our first time here we had lots of questions. He was patient and made sure our dining experience was a positive one. If you love mole this is definitely the place!!!

Very, very traditional Mexican food. If your palette is Americanized you may or may not like this place. I had enchiladas and the sauce was sweet and cinnamon was a prominent flavor. 🙃✌ Not terrible just not my speed. 😉

Planned a work event there for +40 people. Very easy to work with and fantastic customer service. They gave us customized menus and accommodated any special requests we had. Quality food, atmosphere, and people!

I have been coming here four about 12 years now, and I've never ever been disappointed with the food. The MOLE is to die for, the horchata is the best one around, and the ambience is just amazing. Everything is absolutely authentic, and I'm Mexican myself, so I know what authentic is! The only thing is the wait is always long, very long on weekends. So come ready to wait, but I promise you, even a 2 hour is totally worth it!!!

I'm never disappointed with this restaurant. Great food. We always come here for breakfast, it can get pretty busy but the service is always good. It's totally worth the wait. They take the time to refill your cup of coffee which by the way it's amazing! This deli has been our favorite for years.
