Each day at the SDP, a different restaurant does lunch. So Grubhouse was serving today. Now normally I pack lunch, but decided to buy lunch today since they were serving some good items. Needless to say, they offer a tiny, and I do mean tiny bowl of food for $8. The portion size is extremely small and way overpriced for what you get. The food wasn't bad, but geesh! I went to website to see the prices and of course since they are in the SDP building they charge anywhere from $1-$5 more! This is ridiculous and I won't ever support again.

Grubhouse is my favorite diner in Philadelphia! The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and all of the food is customizable. They will make you a blend of anything on the menu, and everything is delicious, including the wide range of baked goods. I especially recommend the vegan sausage on anything. There are also always weekly specials, making it a continuous new experience.

Great original takes on diner food classics. Some of the breakfast must haves: Chicken and Waffles with sausage gravy, Breakfast Burritos and Biscuits and Gravy. Also many different vegan and vegetarian options.

I ordered two burgers (Urban Sombrero and Smokehouse). They were suppose to be medium well but came well done and dry. For them to be $11.50 you would think your getting a thick juicy burger. But no. You got a small McDonald's burger on a brioche bun. The house made BBQ sauce and the jalapeños were the best thing about the two!! I won't say "don't ever eat here" because maybe they had an off day.

Good atmosphere, great breakfast items. Bring your appetite if you plan on ordering the breakfast burrito or the breakfast sandwich on a long roll!
