Sad to read this tiny nice place has closed. It was really great food and great ambience.
Quaint little corner place with simple yet delicious food offerings and craft cocktails. Sad to find it so late in the game.
1 of my favorite places ever! Fantastic Italian food @ reasonable prices. Probably the most internationally diverse group of people anywhere in the city. I will miss them during their sabbatical.
Small place and selection of dishes but what a good one! Service is great and so are some of their drinks.
My husband and I went for an early dinner last night and cannot wait to return! Jamie, our server, was top notch! She was very informative about the menu and was just attentive enough without being over bearing. The food from start to finish was fabulous. I started with the octopus appetizer and it was as tasty and tender as the octopus I had in Portugal. I could have eaten 2 servings. My husband had the carpaccio and it also was delicious and perfectly seasoned. For my main course I had the pasta with shrimp, crab, and scallops and ALL of the seafood and pasta were cooked perfectly . The only change I would make was to add a bit more spice but the serving size was right on target. My husband had never ordered a pork chop at a restaurant before because he's not a big fan but thought this one sounded interesting and was he RIGHT! He absolutely loved every bite of it and the gnocchi was to die for. The whole experience from start to finish was top notch and comes very highly recommended!
A cute, dark, very intimate little (literally very small) spot, Dish has a small menu with some tasty options. Their dirty vodka martini is one of the best I've ever had, and at $10, they should get a prize.
However, the service was a bit spotty and the portions are quite small for the price. I'm all for quality over quantity, but when I'm still starving after my meal, I get sad. The quality was there. The grilled octopus was tender and clearly fresh. The mixed grill was expertly prepared. The veal rollatini was tasty, but surprisingly dry. Across the board, everything was a tad more bland than I prefer. Nothing made my mouth do the happy dance, and when menu prices are this high, I want my mouth do that dance throughout the meal. Everything was good, just not great.
Drinks, apps, and mains for our party of four came to $265 before tip.
I wouldn't recommend this place for a first date and would only come here in a large group if members of that group are comfy being shoulder-to-shoulder. In any case, make reservations.
The food here is amazing, both appetizers and entrees. They have a good wine list and large selection of beer as well. Wait staff is prompt, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the whole menu and drink list. It is a very small place though, so reservations will need to be made at least a week in advance.
Great little place. Amazing food. Great staff. Good luck finding parking though. We came from out of town and had an adventure finding a spot. It was worth the work. The food was wonderful!
